  1. Dealership Oil Change (RCI Skids)

I've got that skid on mine. You have to take it off; there's no access to the drain plug or the filter. I find it a simple task. I put the truck on ramps, and remove all the bolts except the two in slotted holes. I scoot under with a creeper, set it on my chest, and scoot back out.
  2. Dealership Oil Change (RCI Skids)

I don't know if you've changed your oil, but it kicks out a stream of oil like a garden hose. It's understandable what happened. I don't understand how you could not make a mess without taking the pan off OR installing a Fumoto. I installed one on my first change. I'm looking forward to #2.
  3. Dealership Oil Change (RCI Skids)

I have a hard time understanding how an alignment affects the electric steering. Perhaps I'm missing something.
  4. Poor gas mileage

On the highway, I get 23 to 24 MPG. 18.2 x 23 = 418 miles. That's the same range I was getting with my third-gen Tacoma. What I don't like is that it estimates my range as 305 or something similar when I fill up.
  5. Door Auto Locks Not Locking

So... mine were set at 60 seconds. After Googling around, this is what I found the feature does: How it works: If you unlock your Toyota vehicle and don't open a door within the set time (default is 60 seconds), the doors will automatically relock.
  6. Door Auto Locks Not Locking

Thanks. I'll give it a go.
  7. Door Auto Locks Not Locking

Where are you finding that setting?
  8. Poor gas mileage

I'm an old geezer who embraced the tech in my truck. I use the Lane Assist 95% of the time and don't understand what you mean by "constant pushing and pulling." I'm quite certain that feature doesn't affect mileage, but turn it off for a few tanks and find out. Maybe I'm wrong. Me? I'm getting...
  9. Problem with power tailgate

I read where someone had to take it in, and they replaced the motor, and it works great now.
  10. OnX Off-road And Android Auto

OnX has always worked flawlessly for me without plugging in my iPhone?
  11. Favorite Offroad GPS Tracking System (With No Cell Service)?

I'm on CarPlay with an iPhone. I use Gaia a ton on foot. With OnX it works perfectly on the screen, and I find having an aerial photo great. We're headed out for our annual month-long trip to southern Utah, and I'll try that Gaia tip.
  12. Favorite Offroad GPS Tracking System (With No Cell Service)?

I often have to fiddle with my phone to get the correct map layer to come up. Any tips or tricks?
  13. Skid Plates- what brands

Other than a scratch, how did it look?
  14. Favorite Offroad GPS Tracking System (With No Cell Service)?

I use both OnX and Gaia, to me, the latter works better when I leave the truck behind, but OnX works better while driving. I download maps with both apps when I'm headed to the no-cell boonies. Easy-peasy.
  15. Autohold default to always on, anyone found out how to do this?

    Nope. It's not changeable.

  17. Manual headlight adjuster switch

I think the headlights don't move, it's somehow done digitally inside the light. (I think.) Could they have installed aftermarket lights? I don't recall the scroll lighting up. Perhaps.
