FWIW, I own and operate my own detailing/PPF shop and I do hear this from people occasionally. My father has also been doing body work and painting for over 50+ years. Sure, you can run down to Maaco and get a cheap paint job, but that's exactly what it will look like. A quality job at a...
I think all of the big 3 have quality issues, which is why I typically like to lease. I have no preference or loyalty to either but Ford is winning with the number of recalls right now IIRC. Not that it means anything, but I'm on my 3rd Ram 1500 in the last 10 years and have had zero issues...
Yeah, I only want the hybrid for the extra power. I don't really care about the fuel economy but if it's better than the base engine it's just a bonus IMO.
I was just doing nationwide searches (autotrader) on the Denali and AT4 to see what kind of discounts some were offering. Looks like a few ZR2 available with similar pricing.
I think the Canyon has a better interior over the Colorado and I feel it look more luxurious than the Taco. While the Denali comes in at the same price as the Limited , the Taco is considerably under powered without the hybrid power train, which will probably add another $3-4k. I'm also seeing...
Man these prices are just more of a let down every time I look at them. I'm going to wait and see how much the hybrid option adds and what the Pro ends up being before I decide what I want to do. I'd consider a Limited if the Pro ends up being more than I want to spend but even with the base...
I can't stand the way the Cybertruck looks but I have a much greater appreciation for it after watching this video. A ton of engineering went into it and it shows just how behind other manufactures are. Worth the watch if you have the time. :)
If the Pro ends up being over $60k I may look at the Raptor too. Only thing I hate about that is for some reason the US models don't have a sunroof option, which I really want. :/
I put my deposit down here in Minneapolis with no dealer mark up. I see you're in ND so you can't be more than 4-6hrs from me. Buy the car in MSP and have a transport haul it to you. Shouldn't be more than $500. Easy Peasy. :)
I'm a little disappointed with the increased price and really annoyed they didn't release the hybrid specs at the same time. I have a deposit down on a TRD Pro now so I'll have to reserve final judgment until that info is released. Based on how expensive the Limited is though, I won't be...
Find another dealer. There are plenty out there at MSRP, you may just have to travel a bit. The spray in bed liner is something I will actually do if I get one as I imagine the composite is slippy when wet. :)
I'm really annoyed they didn't release any info for the Hybrid trims. I'm also surprised by the price of the Limited as it makes me think the TRD Pro is going to be close to $60k. At $55k for the Pro I'm still a buyer, but above that I will be looking at other options as well, including the...
I would choose not to have them as well but it won't stop me from getting the truck if they are standard. It would be nice to hear from someone who's used the sim at SEMA though. Regardless of how well it works, I still appreciate the innovation.
I would seriously consider this truck if it came out. My only concern would be the winter month driving and whether I could even bring myself to drive something so nice on the salt covered roads. lol!
