Nice!! I got mine two days ago, still sitting in the garage waiting installation. I like the amber look. Holding off on instillation until I get my fogs and possible grill replacement.
You have to remove the whole bumper to replace the headlights, right?
What taillights did you get? Alpha...
I'm going to stop by the dealership later to make sure that if I do the swap, I'll still pass state inspection. Virginia has some stupid laws. Not 100% sure I can have more lights (the lightbar) on the front. Heck, the raptor lights could be an issue.
Been watching this thread a great deal myself. Wanting to also do an upgrade and this after all the hard work that the original poster and others have done, I think it might be possible.
I would like to stay with OEM but also like the raptor lights. There is not an OEM option that has raptor...
So finally got mine yesterday and just finished the installation.
Initial impressions, happy. Haven't driven yet but the quick testing has left me not regretting the purchase.
Seems to be a good holdover until a good system comes from Taco Tunes or other marketer.
Happy camper. 👍
I'm still waiting for the FINAL final product before deciding if this is worth it. Don't know if its going to look right with the after thought add on.
The first reply was my though also. A proper grab handle for BOTH the driver and passenger side A-pillars.
Someone has already designed a matching A-pillar for the drivers side but we need a true grab though handle. My Lady can't use the passenger side one when she has nails.
Are you in the planing or close to completion stage of making both Driver and Passenger side pillars with full through hand holds or are you done with this project?
Need to know to get this or wait until an upgraded pillar comes out.
I second what rich1217 said. I too wanted something that I could put two bikes in without having to totally remove the cover and my roll up works perfect.
