I've had the Opt7 48" installed since April '24 and it has been great. No led's have burned out or anything. Install it using magnets because you need to slide the light bar out of the way to get at the spare tire mechanism.

My connector fit just fine. Put the light strip in place from above the bumper then feed the connector though.
Climbed under and connected the wiring harness from below.
I installed the OPT7 Triple row LED tail light bar using the very strong bar magnets on my Taco. One thing to note is that the magnets are very strong and wiil draw blood if you get your finger pinched between 2 of them! Another thing is that you must feed the light bar from behind the bumper...
I also installed an OPT7 tailgate Light Bar with magnets. I bought the 2 x 24 inch bars variant.
Definitely improves visibility for the drivers behind you.

It will cover the spare tire access hole, but easily moved out of the way with the magnet mounts. I ordered the light, magnets and wiring harness from Amazon.
Thanks for posting! this looks like a well made product. I definitely like the magnet option. After visiting the OPT7 website, they don't show a light bar kit for Gen 4. Did you use their Gen 3 kit?
I just added this to my truck, exactly what I was wanting. Hoping that it will help avoid being rear ended in low visibility. The magnets and wiring harness made it an easy install. #opt7lighting
I could not tell you as I did not do the install. It came with everything needed and I think it was one of the simpler things the crew wired me up for. Sorry.
How did you connect your opt7 taillight bar? 7 pin connector or hard wire? If it was the 7 pin connector does the item on Amazon work with our 4th gen’s

Excellent truck! Really interested in this set up... does the adaptive cruise and lane centering continue to function properly or do you have to disable them with the lift? Really want this set up or something similar, but I must admit I Iove the new tech
