I don't claim to be an expert at this and I'm sure there will be at least 27 different opinions on this issue, but I change the oil in the differentials and transfer case every 60,000 and the transmission fluid every 100,000. FWIW, I'm at 210,000 on my 2007 V6 Long bed with no issues.

Any info on whether the 4WD system will put up with different size tires ? On my wife's AWD Highlander, an unrepairable flat means I have to purchase four new tires because they can't be more than 2/32 different. Big $. Don't have that problem with my 2nd gen Tacoma with old school...

The Toyota site now shows the towing technology package as a separate option for $850. You don't have to pay for the full TRD Off-Road Upgrade Package at $4,330. Can anybody verify what is included with the towing technology package only ?
