  1. TRD Off Road Premium Delivery Question

You get both Mats. 3 pig tails, two key fobs and the credit card key. Also a hitch pin. Longed and a premium. I was told that’s a unicorn.
  2. Surf Rod Holder

All the places I fish I have left them fully or right (on my jeep). Hit the occasional tree branch. But only slightly. because I have the bed cover my options are limited. I was thinking of throwing a front hitch receiver on but we will see if anyone comes out with a good one.
  3. Surf Rod Holder

So not something the majority of the country needs to deal with but here on Long Island it’s a must. A place for your surf rods. At 10, 11 and 12’ long and quite pricey, you don’t want to take them apart and toss them in the bed. Welded to a bull bar is ideal so you can point your truck...
  4. 4WD Drive Modes - Explanation

So here on Long Island all we have is deep soft sand on the beach, deep snow if you get out before the plows, and mud if your on either private property or work for the power company. We don’t have rock crawling and our sand is speed limited very low depending on what beach you are driving in...
  5. Factory lift kits/OEM

Thanks. Loving the factory lift. No warranty issues. Drove it off the showroom floor right to the parts department and ordered the TRD PRO wheels and the tires (online). Could not be happier. Have the look of the PRO without the stupid seats and the hybrid. I want a 20 year truck and the...
  6. Factory lift kits/OEM

so the TRD Pro wheels are at a 20mm offset where the pro wheels are at 55. So any poke and rubbing is really on the offset.
  7. Factory lift kits/OEM

So these are a true 33” measured with a tape measure. My 33x12.5 on my jeep aren’t even a true 33. Clearance is perfect on and off road. Zero rubbing. Will it clear factory mud flaps? I don’t know because I don’t have any. I have about 1 finger of clearance on the back side at full lock...
  8. Factory lift kits/OEM

No but here it is with 275/70r18
  9. Design Flaw/Safety Issue

    Added the security camera footage.
  10. Design Flaw/Safety Issue

No damage thank god. Blew me away that nothing got damaged. I jammed the pliers handle into the hole and tie wrapped it to the pole.
  11. Design Flaw/Safety Issue

Working on my 2024 OR today. Wind blew the hood open and hit windshield. 250 miles on it…Thank god the wind shield did not break. You height say I did not set the rod properly. That was my first thought. But I was able to repeat it. Just push up on the hood. One out of every 5 times it pops...
  12. Can I adjust my 360 cameras more than once?

Made a video on how to access the menu
  13. DIY battery power distribution mount

Sorry, gave the photo to show the type, but not necessarily the specific brand. I prefer all the blue sea stuff myself.
  14. DIY battery power distribution mount

Yea. You don’t want to get into a car accident and have that winch cable get shorted.
  15. DIY battery power distribution mount

Probably since it is theoretically possible for all of your components to be operational at the same time. Winches bring a whole new dynamic as you can have short term current surges that exceed the winches rating. However that jumper from the battery to the bus will likely go up in smoke...
  16. Custom Front Grilles for 2024 Tacoma 4th Gen (And More to Come)

Nice. Def need some options for the Taco’s with the front camera.
  17. DIY battery power distribution mount

Well I would probably total up the amperage of all my gear connected to that buss running at once. Not necessarily the total of each fuse. For example the Cali Raised light bar harness has a 30 amp fuse. Their light bar is no where near 30 amps. But not everyone has a DC Clamp meter...
  18. DIY battery power distribution mount

You did a great job. I have spent the last 25 years upfitting police vehicles and mobile command posts and I cringe when I see these $600-$900 options some of these companies bring to market. However having done a post fire inspection on a $100k surveillance vehicle I would strongly suggest...
