I agree the range on the key fob is terrible. Trying to remote start the truck using it is impossible.
However I figured out my problem. I had a Garmin Dashcam 57 in the back window, between the window and the middle seat head rest. They are set to remain on for ten minutes after turning the...
I have had a strange issue start started in the last 1 or 2 weeks and I wanted to reach out to see if any one has had a similar experience or any ideas.
After I have been driving, park, turn off the truck and go to lock it with the keyfob after getting out, I have to get right up close to the...
I can confirm that black multi cam looks great. Mine are from Headwaters Seat Covers out of Montana. They are former Marathon Seat Covers employees that left after Covercraft bought them. Fit is incredible and short turnaround times. The passenger seat needs to be sat in more and the cordura...
@Redline Tuning I haven't seen any one with ditch lights report fitment. So here's mine. I tried to use them with the CBI ditch light bracket and some Diode Dynamics SSC2 pods. Both the lights and brackets are pushed as far "forward" as possible. With the struts they push the hood farther up...
Just a quick update. In the last few weeks I’ve probably used remote start 10 times. Every single time I’ve just been able to push “Use for Apple CarPlay” and it’s worked perfectly. Seems like my phone has been reconnecting automatically now.
Agreed it seems odd. In other cases if my phone doesn’t connect right away I just hit “use CarPlay” and it connects. But that doesn’t work if I used remote start.
It’s started getting cold again and I’ve used remote start a couple times now. I’ve noticed that when I’d get into the truck with my phone it would not connect automatically. I would either have to turn off the truck and start it again or push and hold the volume button to restart the...
Great find on that blew wire! I had a feeling that was it but I didn't have the right tool or a friend at the time that could help me check continuity on that wire.
If you have a blue wire in the position on the 7-pin harness in the back, it does go inside the cab under the passenger side back...
It could be the fake engine noise that is pumped into the cabin. I had a similar thought and discovered the fake engine noise and disabled it using Carista and now it’s nice and quiet.
