Just a quick update. In the last few weeks I’ve probably used remote start 10 times. Every single time I’ve just been able to push “Use for Apple CarPlay” and it’s worked perfectly. Seems like my phone has been reconnecting automatically now.

Agreed it seems odd. In other cases if my phone doesn’t connect right away I just hit “use CarPlay” and it connects. But that doesn’t work if I used remote start.

Great find on that blew wire! I had a feeling that was it but I didn't have the right tool or a friend at the time that could help me check continuity on that wire. If you have a blue wire in the position on the 7-pin harness in the back, it does go inside the cab under the passenger side back...

Agreed. I would just be driving around and would think to myself wondering why it seemed to get so noisy.

It could be the fake engine noise that is pumped into the cabin. I had a similar thought and discovered the fake engine noise and disabled it using Carista and now it’s nice and quiet.
