once you successfully pair your android, you can go to "apps" on the truck, and futz around with android auto settings. set it to auto launch, and you'll never need to manually launch it. let me go out ot my truck and see if i can grab a screenshot.
EDIT: Here you go:
one note, I had to take the front back off and cut the handle to the winch clutch. The front assembly has some bars that interfere with the clutch handle itself rotating. Just opened her back up, got the clutch removed, and cut it off:
Works great now!
Did not notice a difference, but also did not measure. I saw another youtube video (i think by team oil drop) where he measured before and after, and noticed no change.

Hey all,
My friend Leonard and I just chucked yesterday at the wiring, and this bad boy is now able to pull small children out of quicksand should the need arise!
Inspired by THIS THREAD which retained the OEM skip plate and required no cutting, I took the dive and bought the RC winch mount...

The main sideways lines are gone, which was the most noticeable. It feels like all these swirls are giving it kind of a matte finish? This photo...
It did a great job. it's night now, so I'll try and get a few shots in direct sunlight, but it removed the long horizontal gash. I'm not 100% sure I didn't trade a big gash for a bunch of micro swirls, but I'd feel way better about putting something like the Screen Protech over the screen in its...
yep, it's this device, seen from just above the license plate:
Removing it throws an error that you can say "ok! got it" but it will remain on your screen. cannot be dismissed:
few shots of the device in question:
I upgraded mine by removing the facia, and pouring some epoxy in the...
My new baby has some scratches that must have been a rough test driver. I get her at the dealer with only 20 miles on the ODO, but there was clearly someone who took an aggressive wipe across the cluster with some gritty paper of some sort. The photos don't properly show (tried to use the flash...
