  2. Drive Start Control Malfunction - Visit Your Dealer

This happened to my early '24 around 400 miles. I unplugged the battery for 10 mins, it went away, and never has come back since. (25k+ miles)
  3. Trail exhaust / axle dump sound difference (clip)

FWIW, I have no issue with the axle dump exhaust and fumes getting into the cab. No passengers have ever noticed either. My 3rd gen 4runner is a lot stinkier and that pipes out at the rear bumper.

  7. Rodent Screen Installation DIY

Hi All, Firstly, I've had rodents attempting to live in my truck, specifically the cabin air filter, a few times already and this results in rodent food (acorns), poops, and their nests living on top of the filter, and subsequently falling into the HVAC fan motor when replacing said filter...
  8. 2025 cabin air filter "rodent screen"

Mice at least, yes. I cannot vouch for squirrels.
  9. 2025 cabin air filter "rodent screen"

I pulled the plastic cowl cover. Here is the entry point for the HVAC in the cowl itself. (You can also see where they chewed through two wires that I'll splice back together) I will measure this and model something to 3D print a cover today after work. I

  12. Toyota Dealership offering Rodent Screen

Rodents have eaten/nested in one of my cabin air filters and have also chewed up my windshield washer lines. Anyone know where the inlet to the cabin air filter is? I've seen this mod for 3rd gens but nothing yet for the 4th gens.

  16. Banks Intake review

Interesting! Mine is very snug. I had to press it in pretty firmly to get it to seat. I wonder if that’s the correct filter? I’d email Banks.
