The fact that Toyota can't get a full solution to fix this issue is INCREDIBLY stupid. I agree with that. The solution we've described does work (for most) but that's not a "complete" solution that a vehicle, especially at this price point, should be dealing with.
I didn't read through all the responses but I can speak to my experience with Trumgeta. They requested a few reviews for me in exchange for them to send me products. I was VERRRYYYYY skeptical about this as I wasn't sure if it was a legit company. Long story, short, they did send me the...
These were my exact steps. I'm not having to manually do anything with the parking brake at all. One test I've done is starting the truck with the screen where I set the PSI (in my case screen 2) as the first screen I look at. I notice that it first comes up with the Trip B screen (the default)...
For what it's worth, assuming you get this working, I have noticed that once it works, it does tend to disappear if you shift out of park before everything loads up. That being said, the next time you start the truck and wait for it to load it does apply successfully without any further...
It does. I had to get some different bolts to get it to fit the channels on roof top rack but it does come with the bolts. Whether they fit your specific rack is another story.
I have that same lighting. The install is pretty easy but you should be careful not to break the clips. I broke a few of mine but the dealership was nice enough to replace them at a minimal cost. Other than that, their install video is really detailed and straightforward. They have the map...
Congrats on the new truck! Let's see some pics! :D
1. Lasfit has a good bed mat. I have that on my truck.
2. I've seen a lot of bakflip MX4 as far as the tonneau cover. It's not lockable but the bed is locked when you lock the doors so maybe that's not as much of an issue. I think the retrax...
I had been going back and forth on a drill or no drill solution for a dash mount system. After looking at several options, I settled on the rubigrid dash mount with universal phone device holder from bulletpoint mounting solutions. One of the main reasons i went this route is because it kept the...
Thanks for all the info! Yeah I have the 4-tire inflator kit and some All Top deflators. I was just unsure if there was a way I didn't know about using a compressor. I'm always looking to improve my setup (as I'm sure all of us are in this forum!) Thanks again!
GREAT write-up. I really enjoy seeing what people do to their vehicles. One question, you say you can use this setup to deflate and inflate. (Total noob question here) What is your deflate process using a compressor? Or are you saying you just deflate with deflators and only use the compressor...
I did a thing! I've been wanting an awning for a while. I wanted something simple and not super heavy that I can use a few times a year on camping trips. This one fit the bill and it was on sale for prime day! Super easy to install and even easier to set up!
Here's the link if anyone is...
@Charizard how's the install process for the awning? Is it something you can add and take off relatively easily? I'm wondering if this is something i can remove when I don't need it.
When it didn't "stick" do you remember if you shifted out of park before the screens loaded up? I know that's kicked my settings out. When you start the truck, make sure to give it enough time to initialize the stereo screen and sync up to the info screen.
