I needed to do a bit of minor shaping/grinding to make sufficient room for the air hose and fittings. I used a Dremel tool for this. Making the turn from the oem attachment fitting on the compressor was tight with the Decked platform in place. I have a cap on my rig, so I have the option of...
The type of rooftop tent that I want to put on my 2024 Trailhunter will cover the sharkfin gps antenna, thus eliminating my gps-based capabilites. I don't understsnd why Toyota chose to locate the antenna as they did... it interferes with several outfitting options. So, I need to find a way to...
I have my Kickass LiFePO4 battery box connected to the AC outlet in the bed of my Trailhunter. It is connected via a smart charger and works very well when I engage the AC switch on the dash. I also have my fridge/freezer connected to the outlet and the battery box.
I did something similar in Google Sheets... not nearly as organized as yours. I included a column for weight as that stat will eventually be important.
I bought one of these and am waiting for it to ship. I, too will be considering ways to power that USB port. I ordered some Ram mount components to use for mounting a mobile radio face plate, GoPro, and phone holder. The adventure continues!
Copy that. Did you wire both positive and negative directly to the battery set or did you run the negative to a separare ground point? Did you use the aux connect dongle that came with your rig?
Good right up...thoughtful and not spiteful. Your suggestions for improvement of the product and the customer experience were a good way to close it up. Good job!
I have a 2024 Trailhunter and I placed an order for a set of Overland sliders to replace the OEM sliders. After reading about some difficulties bolting the CBI sliders straight up to a hybrid Tacoma, I contacted CBI. They indicated that there were some issues, but those issues have been...
I am disappointed to hear about CBI's customer service response to this and their less-than-functional product release. Until recently, I have been fairly enamored with their products...bummer.
Thank you for your reply. When you say that you would try a universal joint on the female end first, you mean a swivel female hose fitting, right? I would certainly prefer to dig into the housing less if I can still get a good use outcome. Thanks again.
Thank you for the response. I have sent an email to CBI voicing my concerns. I'll circle back to this forum to let you know about their response and any action(s) I will take after that.
I ordered a set of Overland rock sliders from CBI a couple weeks ago. Now, I'm a bit nervous about that. I am replacing OEM rails on my Trailhunter. I have two concerns at this point: fitment and customer service. I will reach out to CBI customer service. Have heard back from them yet?
