I have a feeling you're going to be very disappointed lol. The biggest reason I didn't hold out for the Pro is because I had a feeling the non hybrids were going to be costly, let alone the top trims. Given the MSRP of the US models non hybrids. I wouldn't be shocked ever so slightly if these...
Just drove by the dealership for hopefully the last time 🤣 There she was, sitting on the showroom floor and shiny and beautiful looking. The countdown begins. Two weeks from today!
Glad to know it wasn't held up in the QC like I thought it was.
Looks good, I assumed the whole dash trim popped out in pieces on one pull like my Camry, glad to hear this is confirmed, I'm not overly a fan of any of the trim color choices they made. That white is absolutely god awful too lol. Carbon fibre the hell out of mine.
I plan to get this done professionally but worry what they might try and charge me lol.
Has anyone ever gotten ceramic coating over the 3m protective tape? Wondering if I should opt out of that or not
I don't see how this will help them. They're still selling 2023s for the cost of a 2024 in my area, maybe a few grand cheaper. A couple people I know wanting Tacoma's told the dealers to shove their trucks where the sun don't shine for this reason in specific.
If they really wanted to clear...
Looks great, and it works surprisingly well. I did it myself with a scalpel, heatgun, and LOTS of extra time lol. If I had my time back I would've got it done professionally
Once you tint you can't go back! lol. Driving non tinted vehicles makes me feel so vulnerable. Like driving a fish bowl. Buy a car and it's at the tint shop the next day lol Although I've never tinted my windshield, hard enough to drive at night as is.
Would it kill Toyota to publically address this QC hold? Obviously it seems to be effecting quite a few people, and I'm starting to assume it's effecting my delivery to as mine should've been at the dealer a week ago.
I get the potentially bad PR depending on the reason for the QC hold but...
Depends how relaxed the cops are in your state. I lived in Newfoundland (Canada) and they'd harrass you over it but I'm in Alberta now where it's also illegal and I've never had an issue with my all around limo tint. I've been pulled over for doing 30 over no license or registration on my person...
I thought this myself today as I drove past the dealer for the 10000th time to see if the truck that should be here any day now is yet, and it's not.
I keep telling myself eh what another month, Hell I've waited sense June. But it's not the waiting, it's the lack of communication and the loss...
Don't let the gen 3 owners know, they'll have a field day with this on Reddit 😂. Hopefully it's something simple OP, I know I've gotten some pretty wild terrifying looking codes on my Camry before and it was just the gas gap slightly loose 😅 keep us updated I'm invested now.
Anyone who's bought with Toyota in the past have any tips worth noting when it comes to dealing with sales people, and getting the best bang for your buck on your trade in?
This will be my first time trying to work a deal with Toyota, and probably the only time I'm slightly worried about my...
It didn't even sound like the dealer had access to such information when I was talking to them. More of a get an rough ETA and when it shows up it shows up kind of deal. Unfortunate, it would be nice to track like the states do.
I don't have the truck yet, but I'm going to chime in anyways. I've owned both dual and single and I have never in my life went "let me use the dual climate" if anything it annoys me when the sync button isn't pressed and I accidentally use the dual zone. Same with the lack of rear vents, whoop...
I'm in Alberta. They're expecting their first truck end of February. Calgary is after getting some same as Saskatchewan I believe. It's no surprise the east gets them first. Afterall, Canada IS just Ontario to many folk lol
