Anybody follow the break-in procedure? LOL. I have only 175 miles on mine and I've 100% given it the "sudden" beans 😏 !!
Was also interesting to see Toyota mention that the hybrid system may not start when it's -35c and below. The resolution is to wait until the temperature warms up. Ha...
Does anyone know if the "EV mode" works on the Tacoma? Apparently you you hit the start button 2x (no brake), then foot on the brake and hit start a third time...then you can move the truck slowly in electric mode only. Also...if and when you are slow speed driving (parking lot, etc), and the...
I see you're in California. In temps 50f and above, I would just get in and drive. Below that, use the lock/lock/hold to remote start it as you're walking up to it. By the time you get in and put your sb on...it'll be running for a minute which is sufficient. For me, in Canada, with subzero...
found them listed online at a toyota dealer...$600 canadian pesos o_O

It should be stamped on the back of the rim...it's too cold for me here to take one off and look lol. I'm going to guess +55. If you look at trucks with the accessory TRD 18 wheel (...i believe this is installed on the XP trim y'all get down south)...anyways, that rim is +45, and it does look...
@StreeTaco I'm considering the bedrug for mine, having had longtime experience with it in my Tundra. Disregarding the tailgate area...how "dust proof" is the Tacoma box?
Really dig the heritage decals on this particular truck, it's subtle and looks good. Has anyone here done something with heritage decals? Or replaced the rear bedside decal with a specific color (TRD red)?
I just ordered the BAK Revolver X4TS...it uses the factory cleat rail to attach (you remove the plug on the end and slide in brackets). No need to remove and reattach them, thus weakening the anchoring strength. I also like how there are also no drain tubes...
Just ordered the Revolver T-slut  !!
When I seen that it attaches directly to the factory bed cleat rails...I was sold. Just wish my local distributor would have made an effort to price match online, or even offer some kind of discount. But nope, they apparently don't want to move...
@BoboForShort great to hear! I'm strongly leaning towards this one, mainly because there's no lost space on account of the canister. Does the Revolver X4 leak at the corners? I've heard that. Another bonus is there are no drain hoses
@Mtnbikes awesome to hear! I see you're in Minsota eh...any issues with the canister freezing up in the winter? I had a roll-n-lock yeas and years ago...winter was an issue with it, at times
I really like the idea of being able to add a bed rack or cross bars...and still have a tonneau cover. Looks like there are a few options out there: BAK Revolver, synetic, retrax...and I think Truxedo has a soft roll, but not currently avail for the new Tacoma. Is the T-slot rail really that...
@24Canuck yeah same over here, -40c today! I drive a lot of gravel roads...thinking i might give the XL's a try. Really wish they would offer an XL rally version tbh.
@HCTacoGuy I think you definitely need the RokBlokz XL's! Would look awesome with your rim/tire setup. Also a set of RC HD2...
Does anyone have the RokBlokz XL on their truck? I'm strongly considering these for the ultimate in gravel road protection...but I'm confused by their product descriptions and photos. If I order an "XL" high clearance set, it comes with 4 flaps, perfect! I think the fronts mount outside the...
