  1. Roof Racks with cross bar from Ikon Motorsports

    1. Build quality looks good. Plastic molds look good and coating on the aluminum components look uniform. There are some gaps that I wish were tighter between the aluminum rails and plastics. I do not think this will be noticeable when installed on the truck and just a nit-picky observation...
  2. SOFT TOPPER - Has anyone bought one and is running one?

I really anticipated getting a softopper when I bought this truck but the gap between the bed and the topper (due to the roof spoiler) is really not doing it for me. That opinion is based on the very few images I’ve seen of it on their website. I’m also very interested to see if anyone has pics...
  3. Roof Racks with cross bar from Ikon Motorsports

I bought these from Amazon but specifically “Trumgeta” brand/vendor since they are active on this forum. I received them last week and the quality overall looks good. Unfortunately my truck is in the shop so I haven’t been able to install them. Also be aware that there are a bunch of these...
  4. TERRIBLE gas mileage on new Tacoma TRD OR

Put some miles on it. If it really bothers you then reset it and put some miles on it. Your truck will show you what your MPG's were for any given trip on the cluster at the end of your drive.
  5. Found Detachable Steps for OEM Rock Sliders

Could you mount it to the other side of the slider plate? Looks like it is hitting the welds from the angles/images shared.
  6. CarPlay is the worst in the 4th Gen

    1. Unpair on tacoma & phone. Repair & report back. 2. If issues persist, try wired CarPlay. Report back.
  7. T slot full size spare tire carrier recommendations?

It's my understanding that a stock full size tire will fit under the bed so I think you may want to specify what tire size you are running or plan to run https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/threads/not-much-room-for-a-larger-spare-tire-under-our-trucks.2262/
  8. 4g Tacoma MPG and Fuel Tank Size SUCKS!!!

I'm getting about 285 miles per tank before the gas light turns on, with an indicated 19.5 mpg. (non-hybrid, stock suspension/tires, TRD OR, 11k total miles) 80 mile daily commute mixed: city (~40mph), highway (~70mph) and windy roads(~50mph).
  9. New Launch: 2024+ Tacoma Roof Rack Cross Bars

I missed the 10% discount window but also ordered these and will upload pictures once installed.
  10. 4g Remote Start is HORRIBLE!

It's very annoying to use the remote and you have to time it just right. The lights have to flash between each press. I get it right maybe 1/3rd of the time so default to the app most of the time. They should have just made it like most other cars with a dedicated button or click once to lock...
  11. Stock Recovery Hooks Painted

Mine is a TRD Offroad so I have 2 hooks like the video. Do you have an SR5 or sport? I think that's why you have the two different hooks.
  12. Rough Country Hidden Winch Installed on TRD Pro. No Cutting Necessary!

Well done! I was looking at this but also wanted to keep the TRD skid. Sounds like this is a decent solution. RC should offer this as a version for those who want to use other skids that use the factory cross member. I’m also wondering if RC prefers to use their specific skid because it ties in...
  13. ARB rear recovery hooks

Google the PN and order from one of the OEM parts suppliers. I paid $285 (before tax/shipping). PT989-35245-03
  14. 2025 Tacoma Prices Released. Price Cuts on TRD Pro and Trailhunter

I was hoping to see this as well. They’re probably worried about that config eating away at TH sales.
  15. Anyone running 89 or 91 octane?

Stillen reporting 20HP difference between 87 vs 91 octane.
  16. Rough Country Skid Plate and Wheel Well Liners installed on 2024 Tacoma SR5

I was going off the instructions where they state to take them off and then the final image shows them not back on so I made that assumption. Maybe I’ll order them and try it.
  17. Rough Country Skid Plate and Wheel Well Liners installed on 2024 Tacoma SR5

Kind of a bummer that you cannot run OEM flares with those fender liners..
  18. Slippery bed on Tacoma

Lasfit (& amazon clones) are not nearly as slippery as no mat but probably not as sticky OEM. I like the amazon one I have as it is seemingly middle of the road in friction & on the lower end of cost, but great fitment.
  19. Rock Sliders for Long Bed 4th Gen Tacoma

I ended up going with CBI "overland" long bed sliders with kick out. Ordered Sept 19th; arrived Nov 20th (9 weeks). The work on the sliders is beautiful. I cant wait to get them installed. Will upload once that happens. Unfortunately I wont be able to get them installed for a while since an...
