1. Build quality looks good. Plastic molds look good and coating on the aluminum components look uniform. There are some gaps that I wish were tighter between the aluminum rails and plastics. I do not think this will be noticeable when installed on the truck and just a nit-picky observation...
I really anticipated getting a softopper when I bought this truck but the gap between the bed and the topper (due to the roof spoiler) is really not doing it for me. That opinion is based on the very few images I’ve seen of it on their website. I’m also very interested to see if anyone has pics...
I bought these from Amazon but specifically “Trumgeta” brand/vendor since they are active on this forum.
I received them last week and the quality overall looks good. Unfortunately my truck is in the shop so I haven’t been able to install them.
Also be aware that there are a bunch of these...
Put some miles on it.
If it really bothers you then reset it and put some miles on it.
Your truck will show you what your MPG's were for any given trip on the cluster at the end of your drive.
It's my understanding that a stock full size tire will fit under the bed so I think you may want to specify what tire size you are running or plan to run

I'm getting about 285 miles per tank before the gas light turns on, with an indicated 19.5 mpg. (non-hybrid, stock suspension/tires, TRD OR, 11k total miles)
80 mile daily commute mixed: city (~40mph), highway (~70mph) and windy roads(~50mph).
It's very annoying to use the remote and you have to time it just right. The lights have to flash between each press. I get it right maybe 1/3rd of the time so default to the app most of the time. They should have just made it like most other cars with a dedicated button or click once to lock...
Well done!
I was looking at this but also wanted to keep the TRD skid. Sounds like this is a decent solution. RC should offer this as a version for those who want to use other skids that use the factory cross member.
I’m also wondering if RC prefers to use their specific skid because it ties in...
I was going off the instructions where they state to take them off and then the final image shows them not back on so I made that assumption. Maybe I’ll order them and try it.
Lasfit (& amazon clones) are not nearly as slippery as no mat but probably not as sticky OEM. I like the amazon one I have as it is seemingly middle of the road in friction & on the lower end of cost, but great fitment.
I ended up going with CBI "overland" long bed sliders with kick out. Ordered Sept 19th; arrived Nov 20th (9 weeks).
The work on the sliders is beautiful. I cant wait to get them installed. Will upload once that happens. Unfortunately I wont be able to get them installed for a while since an...
