Re: wheels and speedometer
Has anyone tried or checked whether recalibrating your tpms adjusts your speedometer for larger wheels?
Given they specifically list changing tires or tire pressure as a reason to recalibrate, and that you have to drive above a certain speed for a set amount of time...
Do any of the compartments still fit the manuals? Or pens/lint rollers/etc. Or do all of them become too small? The visuals make it appear that all subdivisions become too small for much of anything. Or please post pictures of examples!
Weather tech now lists the front mats for sale. Backs are not listed yet. Manual (for those hunting) are not available yet (it suggests their trim to fit when you pick).

Thanks for this!
Did you have to drill through the firewall? Or find enough space in the factory passthrough?
Will be curious if the Rave kit I ordered works this out for the hybrids properly, since our battery is not under the hood (only a fuse box). The hybrid 12v is under the rear bench on...
Answering for the few questions posed:
The tracking image is from the dealer portal. My sales rep says she checks any vehicle with a deposit daily and she sends me a new screenshot any time there's been a status change.
On the smart path page, no it didn't automatically update with the VIN...
I had located by vehicle on the Toyota Inventory Search page, so I knew it's temporary VIN
I was able to track and refresh that page (I had saved the URL) after making a deposit and having the allocation assigned to me. So I actually caught before the dealership reached out when the factory...
handle dechroming - did you buy OEM parts and swap out covers? Or did you use those aftermarket adhesive add-ons? If the latter, how much did it impact the touch controls for lock/unlock? If the former, how hard was the handle swap and did you have to pull apart the doors?
I'm intending a...
There's two things going on here:
Ducts under the front seats = HVAC air flow for rear occupants. I suspect those saying "no rear vents" are more implying that there aren't chest/face level vents for the rear.
Grates on the sides of the rear seat base = hybrid battery system air intakes (which...
I'm watching/waiting for Weathertech as well. Had planned to do TripleALiners as an interim, but they just shared they aren't compatible with the hybrid (supposedly the center hump is different). I reached out to Weathertech and as of 07Aug2024, this was their response:
Thank you for...
@TripleAliners - Why won't the rear fit the hybrids? Is the floor contour different (thought it was identical, but just the bench walls have vents)? Can you elaborate on where/why they wouldn't fit a hybrid 2nd row?
I'm curious on how much I might use the roof rack (if I get one... it'd be more about extra hauling or protecting the roof on long items like pipe/lumber/ladder if not reasonable enough to fit flat in bed, not overlanding or RTT)
Anyone have an idea if it helps/hurts MPG?
I took a look at the images located here:
https://apps.fcc.gov/eas/GetApplicationAttachment.html?id=6392229
and zooming in to different degrees gave different clarity. Don't know if someone has some fancy tools to help clarify the pixelated images once they are zoomed.
I feel like I am seeing...
Are you talking about the situation explicitly called out on page 72-73 of the owner's manual? Or something different?
When the hybrid battery (traction battery) requires charging or the engine is warming up, etc., the gasoline engine will not automatically stop. (P.73)
Just remove the final two digits and search with a wildcard. The last set is the color code.
G0 = dark green (color number 6V7)
E2 = terra (color number 4Z0)
B2 = dark gray (color number 1L7) [Underground?]
B0 = gray metallic? (color number 1G3)
D0 = emotional red (color number 3U5)
A0 =...
