I think im going with the Kuat Ibex. I may be misspelling that. One of the guys on this thread has it on a TH and it looks great and price seemed good for how well built it looked. Has anyone found a good clay to mount the spare tire on bed racks?
I used a m12 3/8 ratchet on the Allen head bolts and slightly bent the tread. Not sure on torque but a 2 bar battery m12 is that rowdy. The ground tabs are east. Just remove and hold the end with channel locks, pliers etc and buzz sides with battery grinder with flap wheel disc. You could...
Sliders went on in an hour with 2 guys. The new video on Cali Raised website is up to date and is exact. My only complaint is the 2 openings the ground lug goes into on the passenger side should be 3/4" taller and at least a 1/4" wider on each side when measured from center. You will need to...
Mine were dead flat but they were also raw. Im guessing the baking during powder does that. Both of mine are curved up on each end. Only the narrow front part is still raised after it's attached. The mounting location is a little farther back. If I had to critique the design it would be tread...
I'll post pics Saturday, I'm going to install them tomorrow morning. The 275 70r18 Goodyear MT will be getting installed sat morning. I really wanted these to help with the gravel getting thrown onto the sides of truck
I went with 2 ugga and no dugga's when I tightened mine. The tread plates have lock nuts the others im just gonna rattle them in. I will be using anti sieze on the bolt threads though. Figure will prevent rusting threads if anything
I spoke to them via DM when they announced their bumper. They told me that it would not be available raw. Very helpful and upfront. I really like this bumper too. It looks like it fits the truck. This and the Rago are the best looking ones in my opinion
Im not knocking their quality and hope it didn't seem like that. It's just all the industrial powdercoat seems to look the same and reminds me of jeep parts that my neighbor buys off Temu or Amazon. Not a mde in USA or small company type quality that I'd expect to get especially with the higher...
I asked about the Pro skid plate a few days ago and haven't gotten a response. I wish there was an option that wasn't powdercoated. The hammer / crinkle dull grayish black just looks cheap to me. That and if customizing a truck and the availability of great paint or powder shops everywhere why...
Just picked up from powder coat, high gloss black and TRD red. Hopefully get them bolted up tomorrow. After putting the tread plate on it seems the front will be raised somewhat. They curoed a bit during the baking part of the powder coat. I may have to weld a tab on the bottom.side or just tack...
You hit the nail on the head. I hauled a load of Blavk Walnut and White oak logs to a veneer buyer close to a job I had. I never dealt with him before but he was 30 min away vs 3 hrs. The first thing out of his mouth was " tariffs have killed the market, they're worth half of what they were...
Drive an F350 or F550 all day then hop into your Pro. I've personally never driven a softer riding truck than my Pro. That's coming from owning Denali, Limited Fords and GMC vehicles. It's as smooth as my Q7 suv. I don't know how it could get any softer. Maybe try a Subaru outback or Honda...
The 2004-2007 gmc and Chevy 2500hd diesels were like this. If I remember correctly I had to tighten the torsion bar on the DF side. It then messed up my body panel spacing. I just parked min on a dead level building slab because I happen to be on a job site today. Mine is perfect. I have...
There are reasons that you don't teach a pig to sing. It just wastes your time and irritates the pig. Tariffs are a complex and very useful economic tool. The Canadian and Mexican governments will continue to lessen the 200+% tariffs that they have on American products and meet other reasonable...
