No chirp when starting the TRD Pro. The Hybrid TRD Pro AC compressor does not cycle on and off like the TRD OR iForce engine.
Decided to check the air temp exiting the vents on both the Hybrid Pro and TRD OR iForce, @ LO setting. The TRD OR would fluctuate...
My Pro delivery was very much like the OP’s. Then, out of the blue, I received a picture from my salesman of my truck on the delivery truck.
Sounds like your truck will deliver very soon, IMO.
17” Wheels Fit
Swapped the stock TRD Pro wheels with the my aftermarket TRD OR wheels. The 18” TRD Pro stock wheel/tire weighs almost 6 lbs more than the RRW tire/wheel combo.
Noticeable increase in power, acceleration and ride quality.
“Interesting point on the Pro seats having taller bolsters. Beefier individuals may not find them comfortable long term.”
This was my thought as well.

I’ve just completed a 45 mile trip, 60/40 Hwy/City and the computer MPG was 22.5.
The gloss black fenders are wrapped, not painted. I know this because I have a rock “chip” that is obviously vinyl/plastic not paint divot.
Rear legroom is definitely not more than the standard seats. The rear seating will obviously be relative to the position of the front seat. For the rear seating to be comfortable for my wife, I position the passenger front seat with my knees about 3 inches from glove box. This is not...
I’m fortunate to own both 2024 Tacomas, TRD Pro and TRD OR Premium. This comparison is not a one is better than the other, only my opinion of how they compare. I’m only posting to provide information to the community.
I’m very happy with both trucks, happy enough with the ORP, that I did not...
Something else to consider, the TRD Pro wheels/tires weigh almost 6 lbs more than the OEM TRD OR wheels/tires, 4 lbs more than my aftermarket set. I’d expect this to make a difference in performance and gas mileage.
For a more Apples to Apples comparison, I may test fit my 17” RRW wheels on...
Hopefully they put you in a new truck. The whole situation sucks, failed engine, stranded on road, and now wait 3 months to get your truck back.
Now I’m wondering if this is something that shows up right away, or something that could occur after an oil change.
How long had you owned the...
Yes, That’s the way it appears to me. Not sure if the VPC is an added processing step for the Pro/Trailhunter trims, but that’s the way the salesman made it sound. I don’t have a lot of confidence in the information he’s providing to this point.
I’ve received tracking screenshot from a member on another forum. All of the dates I’ve been provided have been bogus.
The truck wasn’t built until 5/29. Arrived by rail to Kendelton 6/08, where it currently waits for a truck to take it to port, then VPC. I now expect August delivery is...
