I'd think that removing the Right Tail light (2 qty of 10mm Bolts?) and pull perpendicular to the center line of then truck - you should get a good view of what you need to do easily ... Maybe just Disconnect the linkage and Electric plug and safely wrap/protect from damage rattles?

I could not believe when I bought my 2020 SR EXT w/o remote entry that the Passenger side door did NOT have a key lock to open. The doors had Electric locks - but without the Remote access pkg I had to ALWAYS enter from the Drivers door. What a PITA !!! 5 years I put up with walking up...
