Picked up the truck. New battery installed on warranty.
(monitor recall performed as well)
Old battery was tested and would not accept/hold a charge properly.
I noticed on the drive home that the volt meter stayed at the mid point- 14v. Whereas before it would drop down to 12v after five or...
I just dropped my truck off at the dealer for a similar issue. Getting tired of having to pull out my booster pack every morning, or every time i have the tailgate down and doors open for ten minutes.
Will let you guys know how it goes.
Glad i bought the kit for my truck when the screens were still new.
I got the matte screen and insurance set as well.
I kinda cheated and had my tint place do the install for me.
Only 40 canadian pesos for the work. I'm sure that saved me aggravation worth at least that. :)
It is either a bit of residue left, or the clear coat is cloudy from over heating (friction from the rubber wheel)
I would try some adhesive remover first, just in case it is residue.
If that doesn't work, then go with MustardTiger's suggestion.
I always like to start with the least invasive method.
i have the same running boards and Canadian mudflaps as you. There's a bit more spay from the aggressive tires and extra width, but not terrible.
I did put ppf on the front portion of the rear fenders shortly after buying the truck, as they take a beating even in stock configuration. (since you...
I have the exact tires on 17 inch factory wheels on my Off Road with 1 inch Spidertrax spacers. There was no rubbing and it definitely beefed up the look.
You might want to check the specs on the 1.25" spacers. Spidertrax makes that size with the larger centerbore (106mm) for the older Tacomas...
There is also a speaker on top of the rearmost frame crossmember (the one that mounts the tow hitch reciever)
To warn close by pedestrians when you are reversing.
"It was an absolute pain in the @#$ for the dealer to install."
I wouldn't let that dealer go close to my truck for any repairs!
The factory bed step is a 10-15 minute job for even a novice.
Three bolts to attach the mount to the step portion.
Three bolts to mount it to the frame.
A few...
Taco Freak- My problem, as well as the original poster's is that it is not the buckle rattling against the hard plastic door trim, because when we buckle it into the receptacle there is still a rattle from the rear pillar area.
My truck has had the same clicking/rattle from the same area since new!
Actually there were a couple of sounds, but one was from loose jack and/or tools behind the seat.
Please let us know if the dealer is able to cure this.
thanks,
max
Here's a screenshot from my invoice for the fronts and rear shackle mount kits.
16 pounds for the rears; 21 pounds for the fronts.
They come with shackles and mounting hardware.
