    I replaced the oem muffler back,with the oem TRD twin tip muffler back purely because it looks better. The little bit of addional, non irritating,no drone,sound is a bonus.

    Your 3rd gen didn't howl. I had a 2020 OR and a 22 Sport..they both howled. My 2024 Sport has a slight howling.. not bothersome.

    I think the guy said it was recently serviced. Kinda makes sense because the recommended major service interval is 1yr or 16k..which ever comes first.

    It most certainly does improve the the sound..at least it gives it sound. It is a muffler back system with the resonator removed.

    My truck is an auto and I bought the TRD twin tip tailpipe for cosmetic reasons. I couldn't stand the look of that out of proportion tail pipe any longer. What was toyota thinking?

    I see there is an aftermarket module available for the new GMC trucks that changes the drl to amber. Might be one available for tacos eventually.
