That is correct. Mine is on when I remote start it, although the indicator light is off, but I haven't noticed if I it is on when I do not remote start it because I always just leave the switch on.
When I toggle it on, the indicator light is on and I can then turn it off.
If I remember...

That's in channel but they also have outside mount.
I have pictures of them installed and it looks like somebody else has pics now. I'm really happy with them. Be gentle putting up the front windows when you install them...
I traded in a 2023 Colorado Z 71 for my Tacoma off-road and I'm not looking back. I only had about 7000 miles on it. I hated that truck and I hated the way certain things operate on it. For instance, you have to use the touchscreen to work the headlights And other menus that should've been...
I noticed when I remote start the vehicle the AC is running and yet the indicator light is not on at the switch. When I turn it on and back off then it kicks off the AC. I think that'll help you.
I've been wondering if this would work for anything else, such as installing switches, etc on the off-road that are only available on higher models. I'm sure all the harnesses are there for everything. Does anyone have any ideas what might work trying the same technique on something else?

Thanks so much. They do say it's anti slip. I just ordered the bed mat. Already have the Toyota all weather mats. They're good enough. They have code "Summer18" for 18% off or sign up for their email for 15% off.
Free shipping and lifetime warranty.
Is the bed mat rubbery so things don't slide around like they do on the stock bed? The only issue I see is trying to shovel dirt or mulch out of there with that big imprint in the middle by the tailgate and also those ribs that go from side to side about halfway up. I'm still gonna get it cause...
I've had F150s and Ram 1500s. I didn't go from any of those to the smaller trucks but I'm glad I'm with the smaller trucks. I don't miss the bigger trucks at all. Much easier to maneuver around town and park. Parking spaces around here seem to be made for smaller cars because it's been small...
I'll be sure to do that. I'll be making an appointment for service real soon. Like my front passenger window takes two tries to make it go up automatically. It always stops a couple inches above the windowsill. And those damn menus on the instrument cluster keep changing and then I was promised...
Thank you! Yes, I've purchased from them a half a dozen times and everything's been spot on. Good quality and fast shipping.
15% off code: DONTGO15 or ICANWAIT15
I didn't know there was a towing limit with roadside assistance and also with that platinum coverage! That's very disappointing.
Also, did you try manual shifting?
