I'm not sure to be honest. I'll ask my salesman the next time I talk to them.(still a few weeks from build date) They were listed as accessories on the description.
Dash cam is nice but Ill admit its overpriced. I think I would eventually end up buying the wireless trailer cam, though. Nice to...
In norcal not a single halo trim has hit lots unsold, at any price. Even the 15k plus markups; It's why I'm driving 8 hours to buy one.
Every single one was bought before the dealer even took delivery.
MSRP plus dashcam plus wireless trailer cam plus bed liner and some other small BS. Annoyed at the forced options, but at least they arent totally useless and I was considering the wireless trailer cam anyways. It was the cheapest one within a 10 hour drive.
for real. its one thing to have problems, parts issues, or need to check. its another thing to just pretend its not happening and not tell your customers anything.
I think they just drive slower on the highway. Wind resistance goes up by square of speed so the difference between 65mph and 80mph are not negligable.
I cant remember exactly how the EPA tests work but they dont go 80 for it i dont think.
I saw the trailhunter allocation appear, I had my name on it by that thursday, but its not getting built til the second week of september which turned out to be a couple of months since initial allocation appearing.
aww they deleted it. comments are still there. i dont know how to post to this forum without the forum breaking the link so have the second half r/ToyotaTacoma/comments/1ehczog/rolled_brand_new_2024_tacoma_or/
wish there was more information on what exactly the holds were for. are they fixing a known manufacturing defect? or is it more of a extra check to make sure these are good? nobody outside of Toyota knows and they aint talkin.
Hard to say.
At this point it really depends on where you/your dealer is and where the truck is. My dealer told me they typically get them 1-2 weeks after being cut loose from the factory, but that's near San Diego.
And that also assumes no port issues or backups, no rail issues (if part of it...
I have a build date! Week of Sept 9th.
Bronze Oxide 5ft bed, no bs. hella stoked.
Next thing is to decide what kind of cap I put on it. And start researching winch possibilities, that's really the only thing the truck is missing.
After a million calls my search is over. Bronze Oxide Trailhunter 5ft bed. Sept build date. I will admit it is 2k over but it's exactly what i want and no BS security systems or coatings. It's still lower than anyone else I called and the like...two dealers I talked to that sold at msrp had a...
lol, salespeople being annoyed at getting asked for updates on our expensive trucks. cracks me up. How about customers getting annoyed at being given the runaround for where there vehicle is for months at a time?
Looks like an application bug. Somewhere in their code the variable for the notification title isn't getting set.
Bet you it goes away the next time there is an app update.
