I’ve had zero luck finding a takeoff painted grill surround from a rear end wrecked truck. I’ll end up just buying a new one and having it painted.
Also, the price for the replacement grill, even shipped from some of you guys, was too close to the cost of a new TH grill and light bar combo...
My truck took a direct hit in the grill and upper grill surround from a rock on the highway which then found it’s way to the hood where it dented/scratched and bounced off and into the windshield, which was also destroyed. I had the windshield replaced and am now searching for a replacement...
I had my windshield replaced on my TRd OR Premium last week as well. No calibration needed. It’s an OE equivalent glass and I actually went thru the dealer to replace - they subcontract to a local guy. No idea if it’s a heated windshield or not.
The worst part was having to pay get it...
I had a similar issue and brought it up to the dealer service guy while I was there. In my case, the headrest posts were moving around when I leaned back… he pushed it in further til it clicked and raised it till it clicked into place. In either place the noise stopped. I had it in-between...
@brentbba do a quick check and make sure the dealer plugged back in the fan switch after doing the BSM update. The procedure calls for disconnecting the switch, my dealer forgot to reconnect it causing my truck to overheat. ?
If built to an OE spec with matching materials/finishes while not interfering with the airbag or safety functionality, this will be a home run for 4th gen owners. The terrible passenger side… hand hold, or whatever it’s called should be an easy replacement.
