Hi all, my TH I have removed the roof rack, installed a decked storage and an Alucab contour canopy. The decked has a bunch of junk in it so I’m hauling a couple hundred pounds more than needed. my mileage is averaged at 12.4 l/100kms (18.97 us mpg) with a best tank at 9.9 l/100km (23.76 us mpg)...
I have opened up that harness and cut the black wire then spliced it to a 12v power source to use it for lights and power in my canopy. Then I plugged the that pigtail into both connectors. This gives me one aux switch, a 12v constant wired to the back. Also one more aux switch to use in the...
Yes I am missing that pig tail. I was hoping someone that has the pig tail would share the part number off of it so I could go to my dealership with the number to help speed up their glacial slow responses. But I have already spoken with the dealership since and they are ordering me a pig tail...
The white wire is unswitched 12v when the ignition is on and the white/black is ground. Sorry the tables in the previous reply didn't help. If you can put some photos of your plugs up I can let you know what switches work with which plug.
Ok You got my curiosity up so I when and tested the plugs in the engine compartment and the cabin location. Page 460 of the manual has plug location labels from A to E going with that, plugs A,B and E all have two switched circuits each. Plugs A and B sharing the same two circuits as well as a...
Basically I have a plug that I couldn't find a pigtail that fit into it. When I tested the connections in the plug I discovered that one pin responds to switch Aux 1 and another pin responds to Aux 2. The plug is attached to the rad support right near the windshield wash filler tube. This is the...
Update I found my answer that I was short shipped one of the pigtails. I have deleted the images and references to them as they are unnecessary.
Hi all, I I am trying to work out if I'm missing a pigtail for the 2025 aux switches. I did receive the bags with three pigtail harnesses in them...
Ah, okay thank you very much for taking the time to do that! I intend to leave the roof rack off until I need it. thats why I’m waiting on the drip moulding before removing the mounts. I haven't looked for what's underneath the mount. Do the bolt holes pass though the roof into the interior? If...
Yes I don’t have the drip covers as in Canada it’s considered a factory install so they do not provide them. I hopefully get them tomorrow and can take the brackets off. For now I’m just pretending they are antlers on the beast. ?‍♂️?
Hi all this is my first ever Toyota, it's just on a country road in southern Alberta but we occasionally get some interesting night skies. So I shamelessly posed the truck. My Trailhunter under the Aurora.
