āCheck out that 4x4. That is hot. Someday, Jennifer. Someday. Wouldn't it be great to take that truck up to the lake? Throw a couple of sleeping bags in the back. Lie out underneath the stars.ā
I have always heard that you shouldnāt run completely out to avoid crud. Iām assuming these new trucks donāt have a lot of crud yet. But yeah I wouldnāt run my truck to zero to find out haha.
But 3 gallons is a HUGE buffer! I wish there was a way to turn that down to 1 gallon.
Iām assuming you are using the range guess-o-meter for your range figures? Because the fuel tank is 18.2. And 18.2 gallons times 20.2mpg would give you a total range of 368 miles.
My theory is the guess-o-meter is subtracting 3 gallons (!!) of fuel from its calculations on these trucks...
My local dealer finally got one in with the moon roof and I got to sit in it today. I lowered the seat all the way down then adjusted the seat back to my preferred angle. Once I had everything set up comfortably I had about 1ā from the top of my head to the ceiling. I had to stretch my back a...
Itās weird because new Tacos have barely started to trickle into the PNW over the past couple weeks.
I have found that I almost always know more than the dealer. Sounds like he just found out about the old QC hold and is passing this off as new info.
Iām 6ā4ā and finally got to sit in a Tacoma yesterday. Took me a while to get the front seat dialed in. Then I tried āsitting behind myselfā⦠it must have looked pretty funny. Back seat is very small. Fortunately I rarely use the back.
I also sat in a Tundra and was surprised how it felt...
Can you not reset the infotainment system while driving?
Iām asking because I had to do that today while driving my Polestar to get CarPlay to connect.
You canāt take the guess-o-meter seriously. Itās automatically subtracting 3 gallons of fuel. So it actually works out to 15.7 mpg.
And itās using average mileage. So unless they reset it immediately after changing the tires youāre not seeing the whole picture.
I drive a Tesla a lot. For all the bad press it gets, Teslaās Autopilot is pretty great. I had a 2022 Prius Prime and it wasnāt nearly as good. It wouldnāt start again after coming to a stop. And the steering āping pongedā me a lot within my lane. I hear the new version is better, so Iām...
They pretty much cost the same, but it seems like you get more bang for your buck with the OR. Honestly, if I could configure my dream Tacoma it would borrow elements from the Sport, Off Road, Limited, Pro and Trailhunter. The Trailhunter comes the closest to having everything I want on one trim.
Back from the auto show. They had one ā24 Tacoma there. But it was the TH prototype, which doesnāt have the sunroof. And it was locked anyway, so I couldnāt see how it fits me. Still cool to see the TH up close!
