I have already done 2 oil changes at home. (3200 km on my Sport) I will have the first and only warranty oil change done by the dealership when it is due. From then on I will take responsibility. Dealership has it on record that I do my own and they are good with it- warrantywise and such...
Yesterday my TRD Sport went in for its first service. All was basically good. When I got it home I decided to reset the MPG gauge to ā0ā ( litres per 100 km. here in Canada )and start fresh. I reset it through the gauge cluster as well as on the 14ā screen. As I drove today the gauge numbers...
Wow- very impressive! Thanks for this. Just wondering what kind of numbers we are looking at here in Canada. I ām on the list but nothing yet. Only have about 2900 km on on mine but waiting to see what happens. First service next week. Iāll see if the dealer can bring up any codes. Probably...
My VIN is in the 3000ās so Iām definitely on the list. 6 months ownership- no problems so far mechanically. Couple of little cosmetic items but so far so good.
Me as well. 6 month old TRD Sport, 3000 km. Sept.5th. Reset after ignition turned off then on again. Has happened only once so far. Going in next week for my six month service and dealer already knows about it. We shall see.
I agree. I had the same issue with a PIN I didnāt remember setting up at dealership. You can go through the screen and set up a new pin as descibed. I believe that there is no default PIN for these systems. Itās really a lot easier than it might appear. Good Luck
So I had a word with my dealer. Drive it until something goes wrong is what I was told. I was also told that if your Vin number falls within the parameter of those listed, it does not necessarily mean youāre going to have a problem. Not exactly comforting. There will be various indicators to...
I wouldnāt think so. Mine falls within the range. And the trucks are built in either of the two plants that are affected -somehow I donāt think Canadians could be so lucky! Iām just about to call the dealer to find out anyways.
If it all works out please post pics. Planning on a new set of Falken Wildpeak tires for my sport premium next week. I was going to go stock tire size, but it would be interesting to see what yours looks like.
Had the b/u camera not working yesterday on my Sport Premium. ( purchased in April) Shut truck down , then started up again and it seems to work fine now. First official vehicle service due next month. I will bring it up then as well as a couple of other little issues. No big issues yet.?
I wanted an OEM mat as well. Production of the mats will not resume til manufacturing facility is rebuilt after a fire ( told to me by Toyota Dealership.)No timeline. My dealership told me we canāt get them from the states. Why I donāt know. I went with TripleA liners bed mat for 240 bucks on...
Note to BronzoTaco. Gotta appologize.Itās a Canadian thing. I got so wrapped up in discussing my diamond back cover with you that I neglected to wish you luck with everything youāre going through. I hope all this settles out to your liking. Truthfully thinking about it, I would hope that the...
Yes- the DB Switchback.( I agree-great company to deal with). I really enjoy it. I donāt plan on hauling too much on top of it so I donāt have all the tiedown hooks or anything like that. It lets me still use most of my p/u box . Iāve had toppers on my other Tacomas ( 2-2nd gens). Decided to go...
I was in the same boat when I first purchased my sport premium, and read some the negative comments. I have had my Tacoma since April and I love driving it. Iām not going worry about the occasional troll on these forums. So far so good. I am 71 years old and this will probably be my last vehicle...
So thanks everyone. Bit the bullet and got a one from TripleAliners through Amazon. I needed one sooner than later and before the price goes upā¦..! Should do me nicely.
Anyone with experience with / opinions of the TripleAliners bed mats? Canāt find any previous threads on this. OEM mats are unavailable in Canada and the TripleAliners mats seem to be decent quality and a reasonable price. ( even up here) Thanks for any help.
