Yeah I am pretty confident the TH will not have the moonroof as an option, which I am grateful for. It wont do much good for those who are loading these things up other than to introduce noise from the rack/cases on top.

The Sherpa system looks better and is priced better IMO

It wont be a swap out, its an add on. The full roof rack attaches to the front bar. Its a very expensive set up.

Edit: Had a change of plans for the short term, so I will be using the rack through December and then will repost at a lower price since it will have some miles on it. ___________________ I will have the truck home by July 4th. It has the roof rack and I do not want it. I already have a rack...

My Trailhunter should be at the dealer by the end of next week. It was halfway there as of Monday.

They want all Tacomas to be modifiable, I can almost guarantee the harness is in there for it. This will certainly be optional to do after the fact, and I would even suspect there will be an after market kit that comes along in the next years that is both brighter and cheaper.

I secured a truck far sooner today, already built and I should have it in 2-3 weeks. I should add that it is at MSRP, but has a roof rack so that's gonna cost me 1200 bucks. I will pull it and sell it, no big deal.

Care to share the last 8 of the temp vin was? I am curious if it was built on time, or perhaps even ahead of schedule (which I doubt it works that way). For instance, RT25A164 is the last 8 of my temp vin. The 25 before the A means it is scheduled to be built the 25th week of the year...

Take it to a shop, while parts are ordered you can still drive it around. Just waiting on parts is usually the more time consuming part.

My Fj is the opposite. It drains drastically but when the gas light comes on, the truck has almost 1/4 tank left. I was really hoping this would be handled with these new trucks.

Yeah, I believe Toyota did this because they are very aware that people will be putting giant tires on these. So it looks good with OE, but when you get your own wheels and tires you can utilize the fenders with the larger tire. I cant help to also assume that with the right wheel + a 35" tire...
