Waiting for the last leg of delivery from port for my TRD Sport in WCP, so thank you for this. I need to tell my dealer to leave my truck the hell alone, and I'll have it detailed myself.
This is exactly why I will never use any of this functionality. If they want to sell this data to the insurance companies, they can give me a sizable discount on the price of the truck, or make the subscription completely free. Neither one is likely to happen, and I have no interest in the app...
Confirmed this with my dealer today -
Part number: PT206-35243-20
OEM manual transmission all weather floor mats
2024 Tacoma 6MT
Cost: $179
Availability: 1 day lead time (I'm in Connecticut)
Hi all,
For those watching this thread, I just called my dealer's parts department and confirmed that the part number below is correct for my 2024 6MT with 5 foot bed. I called because I couldn't find them on the Toyota parts site, but that site has a terrible user interface/search function so...
I haven't read much in the way of ceramic specifically but he's worked on my previous baby (1995 Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo) and his work was amazing. In my discussion with him on the ceramic he did say I could get the PPF and still have him do the ceramic over that. Of course, I have a guy coming...
Thanks, there's a guy around the corner that does good work and he quoted me $1,500 for a 3 layer application of GTechniq CSU Black, coming with a 9 year warranty. That includes the prep, product and application over the course of 3-4 days. I am completely ignorant of which ceramic products are...
Based on the link from the other recent thread (https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/threads/oem-trifold-hard-tonneau-cover-installed-on-4th-gen-tacoma-spotted-in-hawaii.4062/#post-58989), part number PT954-35240 is the OEM short bed tonneau cover. It's starting to show up elsewhere, as Yota Garage...
Don't have my 2024 yet, but I called the agent today to get an idea on what the change would be. Currently paying 402 every 6 months for my 2021 TRD Sport, and the 2024 TRD Sport will cost 460 every 6 months. So almost an extra $10/month, not a big deal. This is in CT with State Farm.
I have a set of tires waiting to go on a TRD Sport, which unfortunately has not yet arrived. No news in a couple weeks and it's driving me crazy!
I bought the tires from Discount Tire Direct a little over a couple weeks ago, through their eBay seller account. The only reason I did it this way...
I will give you my understanding - the PPO is Post Production, which I presume might be the total cost to get it and have it installed. The DIO is dealer installed, and specifically says Parts Only, which means the dealer will then hit you with a separate labor cost to install whatever part it...
I just read this thread as I ate lunch, and didn’t realize until I was cleaning up that I was reading about your desire for Terra as I was eating these. Coincidence? Good omen? Who knows.
That is my exact plan, except the factory didn't quite agree with it, so I have to get the dealer to put the TRD wheels on once it's delivered. It's going to cost me a little labor but I'd need to have someone mount the new tires I bought anyway. Still working on trying to figure out how to...
I have a question - my dealer is not really great at providing updates. My process has been to look at the Google Sheets "Sold" tab to see any progress. Build date was 3/16 then it was 3/26, and no update. I reached out yesterday and he told me oh it's actually built on 3/27 and is currently on...
