To further emphasize:
Pro is more high speed off road, dessert runner like the gladiator Mojave. Thus more directly in competition with it and the more premium offroaders from chevy (zr2) and Ford (raptor).
TH is more of a crawler/adventure based vehicle. More in competition with rubicons and...
The snorkel and suspension setup are what keep me to the TH. But knowing myself, I'd want to do more, so for most, the OR would be the better choice. I'm "patiently" waiting to see how both are factory build and then decide. Although I think I'll end up going for TH for all the extra factory goodies
I would assume it's because they figure those who want a bumper, especially winch capable, would end up aftermarket anyways. Also would've cost way more than the rear bumper for how simple it is. The rear is what will get hung up more too. If they did do a front bumper, I'm sure there may still...
Agreed. I can live with the OR bumper, so long as someone makes a winch capable bumper with shackle tabs. I'll just transfer the nacho lights I have for offroad visibility. Not having the steel bumper rear isn't a big deal either. Same design, just plastic and lighter weight. Hopefully get tow...
If iforce max is available with off road trim, I'd gladly take it over trailhunter and forego the air compressor, so long as it gets 2400w rear outlet.
Short bed will maneuver easier on trails, but long bed will haul more gear. I know it's only 12", but that's alot in the grand scheme of overlanding. Decisions, decisions ... at least I like the color
I'm sure the front seats are pushed back all the way, but they look a lil beefier than regular. I have a feeling that will kill the pro sales. But then again, i wonder if most pro owners don't plan on 3+ occupancy
Sr5 seems to be on lower end, maybe lower middle. I would expect 34-36k starting, maybe fully loaded for around 40-42k. I doubt you'll be able to pick up a ranger, equivalent, for less than 45k. This is speculation tho, probably won't have anything concrete till later next month
Personally think it needs the rear rack to look good as a longbed. Otherwise shorted for win. I plan on getting one with full rack and roof rack with longed, so hooe that looks better than "naked"
The th model in Hawaiian debut showcased an electric side slider. Not the whole window, but at least a squarish pass thru. I'm pretty sure tfl covered it.
If I can build out a trd off road to be nearly identical to the trailhunter, but for less, then I'll gladly trade in early and not wait for the hybrid. I bet the hybrid only nets an extra 2 mpg over non anyways. Ideally I'd prefer the hybrid, but my current lease will be up 1-2 months before...
