Love to see photos, see fitment, hear about the ordering process and how happy, or unhappy, you may be!
I'm in Denver area, and the Tune camper looks pretty great. But, before I pull the trigger, I'd love to hear some 1st hand reports
Some key questions:
1. water/dust intrusion?
2. front...
Just made the process easier. The bare Rigid wires need to be spliced to an adapter to mate up with the SPV kit. The SPV kit comes with the bits needed to make this connection (essentialy an adapter that you can build). But the pre-built adapter is even easier! I paid a few more buck to have...
Hello.
I've been watching the rear bumper light install thread:
https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/thre...lights-for-arb-rear-bumper-installation.7161/
My aim was a bit different from the post above:
1) The automatic trigger for reverse lights (spreader)
2) The automatic trigger for the backlights...
AWESOME. Phew. Did not want to re-re-re-splice my prior work. While fun. Redoing stuff can get old! Thanks for the advice.
Ok. But. If, someday, I need to use the rear AUX power circuit, I will have to use a different pigtail upfront?
Uh Oh. More help needed.
So, got it all dialed in for the ditch lights on the 15A Aux 1 switch with the awesome advice provided here.
Now, I was getting on to install Rigid SR-L Series Lights for ARB Rear Bumper install. Looks like the pigtail I used for the ditch lights will not work if I...
Help.
I have a 2024 Tacoma Trailhunter. I have the Rigid D-SS Pro Ditch lights.
They came with a wiring harness, a toggle switch, the lights, and the mounting hardware.
I read the light specs and see that they draw 3.8Amp. So was wanting to use the Aux3 OEM switch (5A circuit).
So, I mocked...
So, then, it sounds like I should honor the OEM Fuse specs and not exceed each aux circuits OEM fuse set up. Too bad they didn't add the flexibility of high amp loads to all the circuits.
Gotcha. But is wire gauge the rate limiter, AMP-wise? i.e. if I stick a 15amp load on the Aux 3 circuit, will the aux 3 circuit melt, cause the wire is only rated to 5amp?
As I plan the use of my Aux curcuits. I want to be mindful of amp needs of potential aux circuit accessories.
Can any Aux circuit have any fuse?
Looks like they have 5A, 10A, and 15A from the factory.
Is Aux3 max amps 5, for some reason, or could I put a 15A fuse in the Aux3 circuit?
Dumb question?
To remove sport bar hardware from fore bed rail. Need to remove rail from bed? To get enough room to slide hardware from within rail? Seems like Not enough room to simply slide the track hardware out with rail installed?
Thanks all
Are the cameras available for purchase from parts department? Looks like could avoid a lot of disassembly if left OEM cameras in place? Purchase replacement cameras to wire up with the kit. OEM cams maintain seal? No need to remove/disassemble/reinstall entire assembly to get to the cameras?
