You do understand that the lower trims tend to have much more add ons right? The Limited is already a high profit model for Toyota. You're paying for all that content already. Good luck finding a totally base SR/SR5 with just mud flaps.
Exactly this. Weird that they added price. It seems like they did that only because Mr. Truck mentioned it. What does that have to do with the towing contest?
If this were a best value comparison we'd be adding reliability, resale, MPG, standard features etc.
Take delivery after 2 weeks of dealers and shoppers beating on it. What a bargain lol!
How did it drive compared to your 2022? Besides being quicker any difference in road manners etc?
Congrats OP! That's a great color on the OR. I do believe you'll be the first owner in the US on these forums.
Will be interested in your review and thoughts coming from a 2019 SR5. You keeping both?

The 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road Finally Has the Right Stuff
Dan Edmunds
Watch as we check out its significantly upgraded Bilstein shocks, coil-sprung rear axle, and disconnectable front stabilizer bar...
Unfortunately this is exactly how Toyota's 'ordering' works.
They build the configurations they want based on a number of factors including take rate, demand, parts/constraints. Toyota USA sells the built vehicles to regional distributors where they install their packages and it gets sold to...
Don't care much about the looks of it, only that it shifts smoothly and doesn't have a sloppy disconnected feel. From the videos of the Pro it seems like reviewers were happy with it overall.
I also personally prefer a longer throw in trucks vs "cars"
I haven't seen this posted anywhere but maybe I missed it. This PreRunner image pulled from the Toyota site is captioned:
"PreRunner interior shown in Boulder. Prototype shown with options. Production model may vary."
Do we know the other interior color names?
Definitely not a Tundra clone inside or out like many were crying about
Like it or not this is definitely new. Very happy with the Blisteins and sway bar disconnect on the OR model
Word on the street is there's a big employee event today at Toyota HQ in Plano TX showing off the 2024 Tacoma. There's a party somewhere, just not here (yet) ;)
