Update: swapped the ADO springs back in at the rear, and moved over the rubber sleeves from the stock springs to the ADO springs. No more rattling when going over bumps :like:
For those of you who did this, what was the sound/creaking/squeak that was eliminated by moving the plastic spring coil covers to the ADO springs? Were the sounds when going over bumps?
And to be clear, we're talking about the rubber covers/sleeves that encase the lower end of the springs...
It seems the common answer for oil filters for a 2024 Tacoma TRD Off-Road (non-hybrid) is part number 90915-YZZN1. My local Toyota dealership's parts department gave me a 90915-YZZD1 oil filter. Searching on Toyota's own parts and accessories site seems to yield the 90915-YZZN1 part number as...
They acknowledged this and two other rattles (sunroof and steering column), and ordered some parts. So at least it’s documented/acknowledged and will get resolved.
The first pop when I grab the handle - I hear that nearly every time I push the door open or even lean my leg on it while driving.
Am I being too OCD?
Taking it into the dealership tomorrow for this plus two additional rattles (sunroof rattle is recurring, additional rattle/clicking sound...
I climbed about 4,000ft yesterday in both 2WD and 4Hi at about 5-10mph with temps in the 80s and while the trans temp did rise, it didn't get close to redlining nor did it go into limp mode. This continues to be my experience whether I'm towing or not. Thankful for no limp mode, yet.
The cradles remove an inch or two of travel from the air bags so they are compressed more when cradles are installed. The ride was incredibly harsh for me - harsher than the Alldogs rear springs.
I'm back to stock springs in the rear with no air bags :cwl: It isn't worth a harsh ride 95% of the...
What do you keep your air bags at (PSI) when not towing/needing them? I have them at around the minimum recommended of 5psi and the ride is jarring when not towing/loaded down...moreso than the Alldogs springs.
I had a fun time removing those nutes when I swapped out my rear springs. It was much easier the second time around when I put the stock springs back on
From what I can see, it doesn't look like the EZ Mount On-Board Air Compressor (25980EZ) has the option to allow you to hook up to it for air compressor needs outside of the air bags - is that correct?
It looks like if I want to go this route and replace my portable air compressor with onboard...
Not yet… ;)
I’m always carrying a portable air compressor with me when I’m towing/camping, so I’ll give that a go for a while and see if I want to spend another $500 on the remote compressor.
Removed the Alldogs springs, put the stock springs back in. Installed the Loadlifter 5000 air bags. Smooth, quiet driving experience has returned!
Will hook up the trailer this week and see how it tows, but very pleased so far.
I've also been looking at that. Is it the 25980EZ model number? Where was it mounted? Would love some pictures if you can.
The air bags are being delivered today so the plan is to remove the Alldogs springs and install those today, then possibly install the wireless compressor system after the...
