Got an update on my TRD PRO. I called Toyota Corporate and also received a call from the dealership I’m working with about an hour later. According to Toyota, my TRD PRO is on hold at the port waiting for the “hub caps and other parts to be installed.” Was also told by Toyota they are unaware of...
Sweet you’re also getting a TRD PRO. But sounds like we’re in similar predicaments when it comes to Toyota’s mysterious shipping methods. That’s a bummer your PRO went from an actual delivery date to “Vehicle May Be In Transit.” Frustrating to say the least. Makes me wonder if it’s a Quality...
Congrats to everyone who has scored a new Tacoma. Anyone have any knowledge or experience with,”Vehicle May Be In Transit. Contact Dealer To Confirm Availability.” I do have a VIN # and my TRD PRO has a window sticker available on Toyota’s website. Whenever I pull up information from the Toyota...
Looks like quite a few people in the forums are getting some clean 2024 Tacoma TRD PRO’s. The pictures are making me excited to finally get one in a week or two. I did cancel my deposit with Visalia Toyota and found a 2024 Tacoma TRD PRO through another dealership in California. I do have a VIN...
The only dealer I’ve heard of that does MSRP on higher end trim Toyota models around Central and Southern California is Longo Toyota, but imagine the waitlist would be absurd at this point. Toyota of Selma, Hanford, Fresno, Clovis, Visalia, and Bakersfield all had markups between $5,000-$10,000...
Can relate to the struggle of a deposit sitting at a local dealership for months only for plenty of other local dealerships to get stock of the new Hybrid Trim models. Wondering the route everyone else has taken whether it’s going to multiple dealers with a deposit, finding a broker, or an...
Nice find. Only 217? 100% agree with you too kinda ridiculous of Toyota to tout the hybrid tacoma models to be available of spring 2024… only to have 217 sold as of July. I’d be willing to bet most of those hybrid models sold were not Trail Hunters or TRD PRO’s.
Whatever issues Toyota is having with the production of the hybrid trims is definitely hurting the arrival date of the Trail Hunter and TRD PRO models nationwide. Too bad Toyota isn’t really letting us know exactly what’s going on or at least communicating with dealers to forward information to...
Sounds like a sweet truck. A broker named Jim recently posted a trailhunter at MSRP 1k broker fee a day or two ago. I don’t recall the color or bed length. Considering most dealers are charging a 5-15k markup, might not be a bad idea. Let me try to find that post
I’m unsure if Costco’s auto program has access to hybrid Tacoma’s considering most dealers barely have any hybrid tacoma’s in stock at the moment, but it never hurts to ask especially if you end up paying below MSRP. Keep us posted for anyone else who might be curious about using the Costco auto...
Visalia Toyota in California has a TRD Sport hybrid Tacoma sitting on the lot for 4 days, but I’m still waiting for a TRD PRO to eventually arrive. Curious as to what everyone else has seen on dealer lots.
IMO, your best bet to get started would be looking at the Toyota website to see what Tacoma Hybrid models are currently in stock at dealers around you. Can always adjust the search to expand your options as well. I know most Toyota dealers in the Central Valley of California are doing markups on...
My Toyota sales guy called and informed me their dealer got a Hybrid Tacoma in. He wasn’t trying to sell it to me at all, but did ask if I wanted to take it for a test drive since the TRD PRO will have the same engine. Any update on your Terra TRD PRO?
