YEs, that is exactly how I installed it, just like that. But by doing that, the camera slides in 180 degrees then whats shown. Meaning the notch on the connector is not at the top with hte lettering on hte bracket, its at the bottom of the bracket. There was no way for me to mount the bracket...

I think you're missing my point though. The Rave bracket i got ONLY allowed the camera to be inserted with being upside down. Which obviously shouldn't be the case.
