Did you encounter adhesive as well?

Have you actually removed it? I attempted to but mine seemed to have some type of adhesive tape in addition to the studs with nuts on the underside of the hood so I stopped. I’m sure with a heat gun, the adhesive would release but I didn’t want to go that far.

Thanks so much for your help. I called Heretic and I was told I had to use their harness, even when utilizing the factory aux switches. Didn’t seem right to me.

I do have the 3 Aux switches and pigtail with my OR. I read the Heretic draws a max of 11.3a so if I wire it to Aux 1 (15 amp?) I should be good to go?

I have a wiring question for you. Did you wire this to the factory Aux switches? If so, did you use a harness that had a fuse and relay? I’m wondering if the factory Aux switches have a fuse and relay already built into the truck and a harness is redundant.

That would be amazing. I did some digging online and the TRD OR caps are listed at 3 1/4” and the TH caps are listed at 84mm. Very close when you do the conversion but not exact.

I’d love to hear once it’s completed. I’m curious what they set the front and rear gain levels to. I’m guessing it’ll be different than the 2T3 since the 3T3 has higher wattage. Would be nice if they did another YouTube install video with your specific setup since it’s the JBL w/ the 3T3.
