Very nice!
Stupid question: is this incompatible with the front license plate? Only because I don't want to get pulled over for no front plate and then have to remove my window tint...
I also have the OEM bronze oxide edge guards on my TRD OR. Same - didn't want them originally, but now glad I got them.
When I had PPF installed, the shop was going to remove them and install clear ones the full length of the door, but the installer decided not to because he thought removing...
Yeah...laying upside down in the bed, penis fingers fumbling with the parts, dropping them on my face, practicing my old navy vocabulary...finally getting it together then going "that ain't right". Take apart, repeat a couple times. Then the big blue sticker comes into focus. Aw shit. Nobody...
Also...mine didn't come with instructions. Said to contact the dealer to get a copy. But, there's some videos about installing the Tundra cover that are almost exact.
There's also a sticker on the underside of the cover that shows how the mounting bolts are installed. Look at it before trying...
Yeah...do NOT use an impact gun to reinstall the rail torx screws.
You might be fine 9 outta 10 times, but that one screw is gonna be a bitch to get out.
Guess how many Tacos are sitting in the shop waiting for internal tailgate parts? Probably just freaking one. That wouldn't stop me from buying a new Taco.
And all this crap about "fist year" is just that. I wouldn't expect internal tailgate internal parts to be immediately available...EVER...
Thanks for the pics. I might get these. The amount of wear I see in the plastic cupholders really pisses me off, not to mention an ever-present rattle whenever I put a bottle or cup in them.
Curious with the amount of off-roading you do, why you didn't get the SDM option?
Was your decision to go with pizza cutters based on the spare underneath or other considerations?
BFG KO3's C range 285/70 R17. Pressure went from 30 on the stock tires to 35 on the KO3's, so there is a very, very slight increase in stiffness in the ride. It's negligible. Truck still handles great. Took it on the twisty turny's on Hwy 1 north coast of Cali last week. Awesome ride. Overall...
Elk Grove for sure, Marin but their finance department is sketchy, Jimmy Vasser in Napa. All charged MSRP but of course wanted to push dealer add ones.
Yeah, I got the same reply. Kinda weird that they didn't ask for pictures or anything. Just responded to my comment that it didn't fit with a refund. I wonder how many of these they're going to eat before they change the description.
Bought a Gator rubber mat for my OR LB from Real truck. Says it's guaranteed to fit 2024 Tacoma LB. It's not even close. Part #BMTAC6216.
I opened a ticket with Real truck, so we'll see how that works out.
If you're thinking of getting one, I'd suggest holding off.
Yeah, the OEM ones are pricey. I had the same issue. Was going to go with the ones from America's tire at $45 each, they said they are basically the same and actually have a longer warranty than the Toyota brand. In the end, I just opted to swap out the ones from the stock wheels to the new...
