Thanks. Looks like they're sold out of all the kits now. Hopefully because of your video and you can get some sponsored videos :). Mine shipped this morning. Appreciate the help
That was one of the deciding factors for me as well. Stupid that they didn't add it to the Sport. It's only software. My F150 had a similar system and it was a regular XLT. Not sure why Toyota does this. I get crawl control (which is probably also just software) but MTS is silly.
Any tips you can give on applying the coating? You mentioned leveling it out. Not sure what you mean by that. This will be my first time. Also, did it only take one bottle of the coating to do the truck? I think it comes with 3.
OK, did 2 orders. Didn't realize the kit didn't come with the ceramic applicator... pretty dumb. Anyway, I used your code on both. It basically saved me shipping, but it's something :)
Great Video. I'm going to try these products. I'll use your code. I would go with B. A limits your audience more to Tacomas. I would even remove the "Any good for Tacoma" tag line and just make it about the product.
It's probably a profit center for dealers. For every person out there smart enough to change their own bulbs, there's 50 people who will take it to the dealer to get replaced. While that's happening they're also staring at new cars... either that or every one is a dime cheaper and over...
If you're towing a car, I'd get a weight distribution hitch. Also, do you the brake controller in your Truck? If not, you'll should see if you can find one. Any load that totals 3000 lb should have trailer brakes. I don't typically to anything that heavy. This trailer will be mainly for my...
I haven't seen any solutions. I'm not even sure where you'd put it. I can see my phone fine from the charger in my truck. I'm pretty sure that even if you don't have one, there is still a cell phone holder in the dash.
I got 7 Years/100k miles Platinum warranty from my Toyota Dealer for $1700.00. That was a Toyota warranty, not a 3rd party. I can take it to any Toyota dealer and it will be in their system and fixed
To me turning off the engine noise and seat belt chimes were worth the cost. Adding the auto-down windows with the fob was a big bonus as well. There's a bunch of things, but I didn't really dig through. I'll probably do it when I get some time.
After 500 miles, my CarPlay has been flawless. No issues connecting at all. My only complaint is that when it reads a text or you try to send a text, it doesn't mute any music you may have going on. That may be a setting, so I'm going to have to dive in a bit more.
I was an inch away from going Tundra as well. As a matter of fact they had a heavily discounted iForce Max Limited on the lot that would've worked great for me as well. That was my backup. As soon as I saw and sat in the Tacoma those thoughts all went away. I also was tired of driving full...
Did this the first day. Also shut off seat belts as well as turned on the feature to put down all windows and moonroof when holding down unlock button on the fob. There are more things, I just need to dig in more. Also great ODB2 Scan tool
