There was a leak in the hose at the metal cinch connection. I've got a pic I'll load up where you can see the fluid and the grime it collected. The system was at around 80 psi. They are ordering a new hose & connection and replacing under warranty.
Ehhh, unless there is more than 1 plug I'm not sure this is it. Popped the hood and the plug in all those threads is definitely plugged in. The symptoms mentioned match but everything looks to be seated properly. I'll give it another once over and call up the dealership in the AM.
13k miles. Been low 90's this week. Driver side could possibly pass for slightly cooler than air temp & passenger side i'd call warm. Settings are set to LO for both sides. I have not measured the temp with a thermometer but it is not cool by any stretch of imagination. Anyone experience...
Anyone DIY install on a Trailhunter? Looking for insight into whether there is anything to be aware of when pulling off the plastic bed rail to route the brake light splitter cable with the TH having bed rail lights integrated. Can you still just pop the rail covers off? I noticed the LEDs...
Been looking at these and wondering if anyone with a TH has installed and can comment on whether the cap interferes at all with the 4 exterior bed rail lights? It is hard to tell from pictures if it would cover some/all of the TH lights. Really use those during hunting/camping and don't want...
Mine did in fact end up being the skid plates. 21ft lbs is the correct spec. I over tightened them . . . twice. Lesson learned. Surprising they made that much racket when flexing until they were loosened up a bit.
I've had this as well for the past several months. Thought it might have been the skid plating contact points but its always seemed like more of a suspension related item.
Because I live almost 2 hours from my dealer & its a simple task that can be done in my garage within 20 minutes. No sense in driving over and sitting around to let someone perform something I can knock out myself.
This sounds similar to what I am hearing on my TH. It really only seems to occur when I am turning onto an uneven surface (curb step up into my driveway). Basically, when the body flexes a bit. It is a metallic sound. After driving into/backing out of my driveway several times and crawling...
My TH came with 300 miles on it since Toyota screwed up and delivered it to the wrong state. Hope the driver took it easy during transport. Nothing I can do about that besides baby it for the next 700.
