update for ya, they determined it was also the A/C clutch and they are replacing that too.

my dealer is replacing my A/C clutch due to this issue. of course though, it's on back-order.

Yea, something along that line. It did it while driving too. I was informed it was a bad alternator bearing specifically. With it being the alternator, it's not that surprising to me. I also had some rough shifts for the week it was chirping, so maybe the alternator has something to do with that?

Hello Hello! At a whopping 5k miles, my 2024 SR5 has a failing alternator and has been sitting at Toyota awaiting an alternator for 2 weeks, with no arrival date. could be tomorrow, or it could be 3 weeks from now. Has anyone else had this issue? Noticed it had chirping when it first started...

I have a 2024 Sr5 and it had this A/C chirp.. long story short I took it into Toyota and it needs a new alternator. Currently awaiting a rental due to the alternator being back ordered (2-4 weeks...) I will update when it is back in my possession!
