I'm watching/waiting for Weathertech as well. Had planned to do TripleALiners as an interim, but they just shared they aren't compatible with the hybrid (supposedly the center hump is different). I reached out to Weathertech and as of 07Aug2024, this was their response:
Thank you for...
@TripleAliners - Why won't the rear fit the hybrids? Is the floor contour different (thought it was identical, but just the bench walls have vents)? Can you elaborate on where/why they wouldn't fit a hybrid 2nd row?
I'm curious on how much I might use the roof rack (if I get one... it'd be more about extra hauling or protecting the roof on long items like pipe/lumber/ladder if not reasonable enough to fit flat in bed, not overlanding or RTT)
Anyone have an idea if it helps/hurts MPG?
I took a look at the images located here:
https://apps.fcc.gov/eas/GetApplicationAttachment.html?id=6392229
and zooming in to different degrees gave different clarity. Don't know if someone has some fancy tools to help clarify the pixelated images once they are zoomed.
I feel like I am seeing...
Are you talking about the situation explicitly called out on page 72-73 of the owner's manual? Or something different?
When the hybrid battery (traction battery) requires charging or the engine is warming up, etc., the gasoline engine will not automatically stop. (ď‚®P.73)
Just remove the final two digits and search with a wildcard. The last set is the color code.
G0 = dark green (color number 6V7)
E2 = terra (color number 4Z0)
B2 = dark gray (color number 1L7) [Underground?]
B0 = gray metallic? (color number 1G3)
D0 = emotional red (color number 3U5)
A0 =...
I've been allocated a Limited Hybrid. Waiting on delivery, which is estimated between mid-Aug & mid-Sept.
I'm a bit tainted here as before this Tacoma was released, I was dead set that my next vehicle would be a plug-in hybrid with a minimum battery-only range of 30 miles. When some of us sit...
Also curious if anyone has located or identified the part number(s) associated with the outward bed scene lighting for doing an aftermarket rail swap (since factory force removed mine from the allocated build)
Similar to my line of thinking. I was figuring I would need to wire as a separate control switch, but I would get the same desired effect if there was a factory connection pigtail where I could jumper it from the fog light circuits. I plan to swap out the white fogs with amber Diode Dynamic...
Let us know how you sort it out.
Wishful thinking was that the harness with the extra aux runs was there, and they simply skimped on having the factory buttons in the cab.
(no clue why Cali wants $17 for their switch and Rave wants $45 for theirs!... haven't located the OEM # yet for when...
@Gurvy522 - How'd you complete the wiring on the Limited? Did you find aux runs already in place? Or what did you need to do in order to finish the wiring portion of the install?
Much of this is repeated prior, but thought I would drop it in from the web hunting and phone calls I've been making, either because I have sourced it, or considered sourcing it.

It'll be a month or two before I get my truck and could report back how the fit goes or doesn't. We use the WeatherTech in two other vehicles and they are really durable against our ~100lb dog. So I'll have the benefit of being able to test fit both the larger and smaller before triggering an...
On the allocations: I was struggling to find my desired combo of exterior/interior color in a Limited Hybrid. None of my local dealers (within 50mi) were interested in more than "put a deposit down and we can let you know when we get one assigned". Ended up using the Toyota Inventory search...
Just ordered the Rave kit with the Diode Dynamics. I'll be super curious how Rave either fills in the gaps on the side, or how it looks with the DD 18" bar. Felt worth it to pay a little extra to them and get the mounting brackets and camera adjustment bracket as part of a package than sort...
Did some research and talked with parts departments to figure out that the roof rack is part PT767-35100 and that PT767-35100-RK is a backup number for a parts department to order parts of the kit as replacements.
My two questions to the group are:
1. Does anyone know the exact height stack of...
