Yeah….Im not sure how this process works….deposit paid, order placed…no other info. As I mentioned above, he did tell me that their dealership was allocated 3 hybrids so that gives me some hope.

Ok thanks….was wondering. Can you step the tubes down by joining a smaller tube that fits the hole in the bed?

Very nice! That’s the cover I want to get for my truck. I was wondering about drain holes? Looks like the cover needs to be drained at the front of the bed. Were their holes there or did you have to make some?

I thought it was interesting as well that this guy had a truck when no one else seems to have had that opportunity? Haven’t seen any other videos with anyone driving the truck (alone) on the road….nice to get that perspective though.

As per the Trailhunter thread....maybe we can post and keep track of TRD Pro allocations and ordering info here. I have a deposit down and the dealer placed the order but no delivery date or info that way yet. I'm in Canada. I'll add. The dealer said they were allocated three hybrids. One is mine.

I get your point about bed space. I'll have think about that. The retrax seems more secure than the hard roll up though. Or am I wrong?

I’ve been looking a retrax for a while now. I’m also interested in getting the Yakima bars that fit the retrax. I’m not really aware of any similar products? Is this the way to go? I want something that easily rolls up out of the way like that, can also lock and allows you to combine the racks...
