20. as someone who has worked in the service department, most manufacturers require 10+ miles of driving by the tech before they say it’s good to go.

I just got finish with the Beat Sonic install and it’s much improved now. It’s how it should have came from the factory.

great success, it was exactly where you said. It was the Radio 20A fuse. I’ll probably disconnect the battery before attempting a reinstall lol.

Anyone know where the fuse box location is for the interior items. I’m specifically looking for the power fuse to the head unit. I was installing the best sonic amp yesterday and must of grounded something out, but I’ve checked both fuse boxes under the hood and nothing appears to be blown.

just pondering options. The premium sound is OK, but it’s not great. I’ve had other factory sound systems that blow it out of the water.

yes sir, checked and double checked before I turned the power on. I didn’t have the engine lights before I wasn’t getting power to the head unit. I checked the fuses and then I got those .initially I just didn’t get power to the radio.

Almost 2,600 miles on mine and it’s been great so far (knock on wood). I will say that I was suprised at how little the techs at my local dealership knew about the trucks when I had to have a tire changed, they didn’t even know where the jack was.
