  1. Poor gas mileage

This is such a good answer -I can get super good gas mileage being gentle on the throttle and driving under 65. When I punch it and just drive the truck with a modestly aggressive style it plummets. I don’t mind it. When I drive long distances and I need good gas mileage, as long as the wind...
  2. Father and Son

My son, Taco Rancher Jr., has been my Tacoma sidekick since he was 8 years old in 2022. He is involved in every mod, every wash, and countless conversations about off-roading and tires and he helps me with all my YouTube videos. Trucks make for a great parent-child bonding activity.

  8. PSA while cleaning your truck

Here’s another PSA. I opened the hood to clean the engine bay and stupidly left the windshield wipers lifted - got two of these on the hood near the cowl / windshield. Thankfully it’s most likely entirely PPF damage. Never did that before wasn’t thinking.

  12. Second oil change at 5000 miles. More metal debris found (with pics!)

Maybe my experience is just different. I’ve recently driven 2 Rivians, an A class Mercedes (or whatever that small Mercedes is in Europe when you go to rent a sedan), a Ranger Raptor, and a Lexus TX, and I prefer my Trailhunter over all those. I admit I haven’t driven a Gelandewagen in my life...
  13. Second oil change at 5000 miles. More metal debris found (with pics!)

sketchy or different? How does it feel sketchy - I’m not questioning you at all just curious
  14. Second oil change at 5000 miles. More metal debris found (with pics!)

That was my point. Me comparing to a Mercedes was not to be taken literally but was more meant to express my enthusiasm about how awesome it drives for such an aggressive and capable truck.
  15. Second oil change at 5000 miles. More metal debris found (with pics!)

I’ve owned a few as well. Most recently a 2010 E550. I’m obviously exaggerating. It does drive super nice imho, though.
  16. Diamondback Tonneau Cover review / feedback?

Cool. Yeah you don’t need them for water - it’s so the bed cap doesn’t get deformed when you torque down the HD for more weight -
  17. Diamondback Tonneau Cover review / feedback?

Nope - it just reinforces - nothing moves from stock - impossible to know shims are there unless you apply force and realize it’s firmer
