Depends on where you drive it keeping the air filter changed keeps the oil cleaner. Same intervals we have this engine in our Lexus. I change it every spring and fall but we rarely drive it. Offroading in the desert probably requires more oil changes...send it out for analysis if you are...

I have the 2.4l turbo in my NX200t and get an easy 25mpg. The only issue is you have to run 91 octane min.

I've had film on my last few vehicles Lexus though and that film saved our paint job from the salt and sand they put down here. No discoloration if they use the right film. My CT200h was done 11 yrs ago... looks like new the only blemishes are in the film which comes off.
