Yeah the Start/Stop on these hybrids don't work like traditional gas Stop/Starts. It'll usually turn the engine off as you are coasting to a stop, and if you are gentle on the throttle the engine won't kick back on when you roll away from that stop until you really give it some gas. So it's not...
Went with hybrid for ALL the power lol. I've driven both and can appreciate the immediate and smooth power from a stop, though the gas is not too far behind. Also highly value the 2400W inverter. Not seeing as many MPG gains it seems so I wouldn't use that as a main factor in your decision.
Anyone have a source for just the instrument cluster protector? Only ones I've seen come in a full kit with the 14" screen protector, which I bought separately not realizing I'd need one for the instrument cluster as well.. I'd also be willing to buy anyone's extras if you have them!

Thank you! They are technically called AT3w or maybe u, but they are Toyota’s nerfed version of an AT3, basically a street tire with no 3 peak snow rating, which I’ve enjoyed on previous vehicles. Hybrid OR.

I can already tell from the ride home that they help absorb more bumps in the road than the stock Falken AT Lites were. Less harsh. And no noticeable additional road noise (but that could be thanks to the amazing noise canceling.)
Adaptive cruise isn’t meant for super curvy mountain roads really.. it’ll turn off if you’re going a certain speed into a tighter curve in the road. Based on how long your cons list is compared to the pros, why didn’t you stick with the Ranger?
