So I got the 35's on with 17in wheels and +25 offset. It looks really good, but I'm getting a bit of rubbing at full turn from something inside the wheel well (not the fender), and I'm trying to figure out if it can be replaced with a smaller part. Still need to do some more testing and see if...
I put some larger tires on the TH and I'm getting a bit of rubbing on the piece pictured at full wheel turn. It's behind the drivers side wheel. Any idea of there's a way to replace it with something smaller? I don't want to remove it completely because the electronics behind it would be exposed.
Located in Greensboro.
Took both off the truck last night. Includes all mounting hardware.
Roof rack is almost fully built aside from needing to remove side rails to access bolts. Would take 15 min to install.
Let me know if you have any questions.
I was planning to post them for $1200 together and see what happens. Let me know what you think. Feel free to shoot me a DM if you want to discuss. I'll be taking them off the truck this weekend.
Another random question for you @tacorancher. Did you buy a full sized spare when you upgraded? Kinda worried about trying to limp back on the stock spare if I'm going up in size so much... but I know it won't fit under the truck either.
I don't have a ton of experience here unfortunately, and I'm having a hard time deciding between these two. I know as far as looks the size is super negligible, so it's mostly about specs that have me questioning myself.
I know the C's will be more comfortable on the road, which is a huge plus...
Excuse the pollen in the pictures. I'm sure you all know the struggle.
My new wheels will be installed on Wednesday (04/09), and they will be ready for sale then. They currently have less than 100 miles on them.
Will also be selling the roof rack and rear ARB rack soon, but I am unsure of what...
I ordered the matte black last night. Now to decide if I want your tried and true 285's or if I wanna take a risk with 35" tires. They look so good at that size, but knowing me I'll be the one to run into problems.
Damn. It looks really good, but I feel like that slight difference might drive me crazy. I need to do some thinking before I place my order. Either way, great choice for your truck.
Honestly that would be sick if you could, or see if you can just get them both in the same shot where you feel you can tell the difference?
I'm considering either blacking out the front if I go with black wheels, or going the way you chose if it looks good together.
C tires are what I was aiming for through TireRack, so hopefully good to go there.
How well does the bronze match your front Toyota logo with the new wheels?
So I’ve read the entire thread and am aiming to get either Method 701’s or 703 in 17”. Does anyone have a definitive answer as to if 285’s or even 295’s will fit without rubbing?
Will likely go Faulken for either.
