I also didn't see speaker volume adjustment only microphone.... Maybe it came with an update us early users didn't see... I know I was only paying one time and not keeping a subscription

Ya I wish they would have specified... I'm not sure how it works with other cameras but with a Viofo it just keeps recording tell it times out or shuts off... It was advertised as actual "parking mode"... I took that to mean shutting down and only turning on with movement or the G-Sensor getting...

Could be the window also like someone said... There have been alot of loose windows.... Take off the triangle piece someone mentioned and put foam tape between the window gasket and metel.... Before that I would push on it first and have someone hit the area make sure it goes away

I wonder if it works also from the rearveiw mirror plug? Did you try there or only from the dome light area? I'm thinking of cutting off the Dongar and splicing to hardwire kit from there

Dome lights turn on automatically when you get close to your truck with the smart key... Maybe that's what's happening

Will one of the Dongar plugs work? I have the Dongar pro and a Viofo... A little upset parking mode doesn't work... Can I pull their wires from one of their connectors and hook to the hardwire kit? Thanks for the write up... I did the fuse tap after getting pissed at the Dongar pro but I didn't...

I just got back from my service... They never heard of the problem and told me to take it back to whoever tinted my windows.... Bunch of BS...

I've see it on Tacoma World....But the guy had to switch a few of dash pieces including the push/start button to make it fit.... And he has it set up without the volume knob because it is in between the vents.... I'm gonna install an after market stereo just waiting to see what I need and how...

If yours didn't come with them then the dealer needs to grab them off another truck.. We paid so much for these Tacoma's you should get what you paid for... I'm pretty sure all models came with the tie downs

I agree.... I wasn't planning on switching to different tires but these slide all over the place on the snow/ice.... Definitely not as good as I hoped they would be....

So you can drive over 60mph in 4wd? I always get on the on ramp and turn it off when I get on the highway.... I always thought over 60mph would damage something? The highway where I live gets super icy sometimes but I always turn it off

If my wheels are turned slightly I get a clunk or sometimes if I'm stopped... I've found the smoothest way was coasting in a straight line then it's super smooth....

Were you able to hardwire to the fuse box and close the cover... Wanted the Dongar for a clean install Bought the hardwire kit but trying to avoid extra fuses or a cover that won't close Can the Hardwire kit be hooked to the mirror or needs a fuse tap I'm assuming.... I hope they do thoroughly...

Can people post which Cameras they have that actually activate parking mode with the Dongar pro plz.... I'm gonna ditch my Viofo A229 pro it doesn't work for parking mode camera just stays on until battery cut off... I know the Garmin mini works anything else?

What is the answer to can the truck move without the key? I autostart my truck then go outside and use the push button cause 10mins isn't long enough then I go inside with my keys... Which makes the truck beep.. Can someone jump in and drive til it's turned off or will it not go into drive...

Anyway... I do get some engine smell every once in awhile... When accelerating in the morning especially when it's cold usually under 25—30° Not every morning but maybe once a week... Maybe sometimes Im accelerating to fast? I have 5,250 miles did my first oil change at 2500mi....Thoughts...
