Man, Sorry you aren't happy with your SR5 but telling people to not buy it is a bit extreme. I got a new SR5 as my first tacoma, the higher end trims were out of my budget but I really like this truck. It is fun as hell to drive and I can build it up however I want.
Any updates on this issue? I have a 2025 that I just got about 1000 miles ago and I noticed mine does this low idle shake every 45 seconds or so in the AC is on as well. I guess it’s normal? Did you ever take it into the dealership?
I recently bought a 2025 Tacoma and I noticed that there is a good bit of protective film near the back rear wheel. Is this the same amount of protective film that came on the 2024 or did they add more in response to all the rock chips people are getting?
I've read that some people remove the small crash plates behind the front tires. Not suggesting that someone should do this but I've read that it gives the tires a lot more clearance.
I have a 25 SR5. I'm considering upgrading to +25 wheels and 285/70 Wildpeaks. Can anyone confirm that you are able to turn the wheel completely, like for a U-Turn for example without rubbing with no lift?
Thanks!
Do you folks ever have any rock chips from the +25 wheels? I have a SR5 with the OEM tube steps, wonder if thats enough to prevent them. I don't offroad but Florida roads have lots of debris.
you just made my day, definitely getting these. Can i see I a picture of your whole truck at an angle if you have one? (figured you might, because I can't stop taking pics of mine lol)
BTW, if you don't mind me asking. How much did they cost to install?
I didn't realize you can put aftermarket flairs on the SR5. Did you have to do any modifications to get those on? Looks good! Do you have any rock chips from the +35 wheels?
These look good! I have a 2025 SR5. If i have about 1 inch of poke from +25 wheels, do you think the mudflaps would cover that? Trying to prevent rock chips.
