They do, indeed, I am considering getting it. I have the original one which doesn't allow for parking mode. I think the site lists the devices which will work with new system.
I am in Woodland, so about a hour and a half from Lathrop. "Newer to photography" isn't an issue for me. I'll send you a private message to discuss a meet up.
Dave, I wired my lights directly to the supplied aux harness and am using the factory switches. I have ditch lights and a grill light bar, both with DRLs. By doing so, I didn't have to snake any wires into the cabin from the engine bay. I don't know how to wire the switch you have in your...
While this does not give the location of the fuse for the wireless charger, it is sort of a cool little site for fuse locations on our 4thG Tacomas and other vehicles:

Found this over on the TacomaWorld forum, thanks to "Old Man C".
Ben, don't forget this forum has over 5000 members. I would imagine there are a few who have money to burn and a few who are deeply in debt and, many more, who make mods as they can afford them. I am in the latter group, though, I am past being tempted by most mods anyway, translation: I'm...
My salesman tried to get me to test drive a limited. As I remember, it was very well equipped compared to the OR I wanted and easier to get into. From what you describe, the limited should fit your needs. In reality, I think it would have fit mine just fine too...but I wanted the ability to...
I am looking at this one. I like it because it does not require any drilling, though it isn't cheap. I just need to figure out if the phone grip will hold a Samsung S23 in an Otterbox case.
This video shows instillation about 3/4 to the end, looks pretty easy.

Just curious if there are any fellow landscape photographers in the Sacramento area who might want to get together for photo related exploring? I bought this truck with photography in mind. It would be fun to share both passions.
I like the beefiness of the Toyota front recovery points but, to be honest, I think these look much easier for attaching a rope or shackle. Mine are a little more difficult to access but then, I'm an old fart and EVERYTHING is more difficult....LOL
I bought these on Amazon (see link below), they're made by Toyota, stamped with the Toyota name, and are very beefy. I have ordered the ARB recovery points for the rear thru the same dealer on Amazon.

Do you get a lot of bugs smashed on the back surface of the mirrors? They may be pecking the bugs off. I have noticed some birds love the front grills of our vehicles because of all of the bugs plastered all over them here in rural California. Try cleaning off the back of the mirrors and see...
You have probably already done this but I would pull the panels again and confirm there are no loose or unconnected wires/harnesses in the areas you were working. I know pulling interior panels can take a little cajoling, just a thought. Good luck!!
Agreed and I'd add, not all dealerships are the same. Do your research and find a small, locally owned dealer who doesn't add dealer markups and unwanted add-ons. Their service departments tend to be more honest too.
Yah, don't think that's normal, just got back from a 2200mi trip to New Mexico with no howling. Speeds were between 55 and 85 mph, with snow, rain, and dry roads. I wouldn't be happy either. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. I have 8800mi total on the truck.
