Labor I believe is $125 an hour with the following breakdown:
5 channel: $400
DSP $300
Front Sound dead: $150/side
Rear Sound dead: $100/ side
Comp. Speakers: $180
Coax Speakers: $100
Subwoofer: $50
Totally understand what you're running...
I got the base package off road in May and I've been struggling with the spekaers. No power, no depth.. Just pretty anemic overall. I was hoping to be able to add some bass and nice speakers for $1500 installed or so, but I quickly learned that is not really the reality. Here is what I've put...
Same ones here. I think in the future I would go for a more traditional 285/70 for more width. At times the ride feels very "road bike" like... Kind of twitchy imo.
That really sucks for you guys with damaged paint. The unit itself looks really nice, probably like the best cover on the market, but it's dead in the water if it's scratching your truck. FFFFFF that.
lol, same shit man. I think just joining local fb groups, posting stuff like this, etc.
I'm pretty down to go out and explore and have a lot of time on my hands. Lots of good stuff up there north of LA.
Nice! I'm also in San Diego and got the same wheels last week. Love them so far. I took the truck up Otay on Sunday and I'm thinking about going out to Ramona today. Lmk if you're ever up to go out to the desert.
How do you find the handling / performance?
I sent it on a yellow left turn light yesterday around a corner expecting the truck to catch itself… it barely did. I almost went into the sidewalk.
5,002 miles on these wheels and tires, excellent condition.

Take the spare for another $150
Thank you. The color is interesting. Sort of a graphite... Way too early to tell as far as the milage. I dont think it will be a big hit though, it rides very similar. It doesn't feel like it's added any extra weight on the wheels.
I was on the fence between the 255/85/17 Mickey Thompson BAJA BOSS (you gotta capitalize it) and the Toyo Open Country A/T3.
Local shop quoted me $1400 installed out the door for the BAJA BOSS and $1100 OTD for the Toyos. I figured a 34" might be pushing it as far as clearance, gearing, all...
Had the tune installed by Quoc in San Diego on Saturday. 10/10, would recommend. You don't realize how bad the stock tune is until you drive this one. Absolutely changes the experience and makes the truck a joy to drive. My only concern is reliability, both on the tune, and the 4th gen tacoma...
